At the café~
"I'm so glad you could make it, Alice." Elia said as she sipped from her cup. "Yeah. Traffic did me no justice." I giggled and admired the smell of coffee that filled the room. I was trying my best to ignore the stare I felt on my back and continued to talk to my friends.
"So, are you guys excited for the camping trip?" Lucy asked us. My head perked up, just now remembering the trip. "Oh, right. I've been so caught up with other things, I completely forgot about it. I can't wait for this weekend." I laughed, taking another sip of my coffee. Every now and then, I would turn and glance at Laura. She was sitting at her table, stirring her tea as she glared at me. I fidgeted in my seat uncomfortably. Then Amelia's phone started to ring. "Excuse me. I'll be right back." She stood up and proceeded to walk outside of the café to answer the call. "It's so pretty here, don't you think?" Lucinda broke the silence. I looked around the café, scanning the interior design carefully. "It really is. I love the chill vibe it gives off. Whoever decorated this place did a fantastic job." I stated as I held my coffee mug, warming my hands. "True. We should come here more often. We might as well bring the boys along, too." Lucy giggled. I laughed with her, thinking about what that chaotic lot had decided to do. "Their drinks are amazing, too." I commented, genuinely enjoying the taste of coffee. "Sorry. I forgot to tell my dad I went out, so he called to check up on me. Where were we?" Amelia sat back at the table. "We were just admiring the place." I answered her question as I suddenly got the chills. I cursed under my breath. She knew I was ignoring her. If I don't speak to her, she'll ruin my life. If I do, I'll ruin my own at the same time she ruins mine, but this could also be a chance for us to come to an agreement. I ran my hands through my hair in frustration and sighed. "So, how do you guys feel?" Amelia broke the silence. "What?" Lucinda and I asked, not really understanding the question. "About the whole 'best group' thing. It was really surprising, wasn't it?" Elia clarified. "Definitely. I never would've guessed simple elements like those could change the whole image." I nodded in agreement. "It's strange though. Maria and her group have been friends since forever, I wonder why they looked so uncomfortable." Lucinda pointed out. I began to recall all of the times I've spotted Maria's group of friends hanging out, and Lucy was right. If they were best friends for so long, why did their photos look so awkward?
"Ah! Lucy, remember that thing we were talking about?" Amelia joked. Lucinda looked confused at first, but eventually knew what Elia was talking about. "Ohh, that, yeah I remember." The two girls giggled. "What?" I said confused. "We've done some investigation and analysis and have come to the conclusion that Levi Parker has a crush on you." Elia said playfully, wiggling her eyebrows. "What? Levi? No, he couldn't." I shifted uncomfortably. "Oh, but he could." Lucy countered, stirring her coffee suggestively. "Oh, my God! You both are delusional." I laughed and shook my head in disapproval. "It doesn't mean we're wrong, though." She smirked at you. "Fine, then. Give me legitimate proof that Levi Parker has a crush on me. Because I refuse to believe that." I leaned back into my seat with my arms crossed. Amelia pulled out her phone. She fiddled with it a little and shoved the screen in my face.
"What exactly am I supposed to be looking at?"

Hello readers! I got really bored and decided to finish up this chapter. This is just a filler because I'm still pretty busy, but decided that now would be a good time to gift y'all with a new chapter. It's pretty boring and short, but I promise the next one will be better!
