Frank sleeps through the journey as the ship has been set to autopilot, he dreams of dragon fighting, a giant beanstalk and a winged horse before the sound of the ship landing, bursts his bubble.
He looks up at the purple sky, seems that he has reached home. He leaps out of the steaming ship and is greeted with a Ti, who is far more pleasant than the other Ti he knows. Offering service, he skips away to greet the buzzing city.
This was not anywhere near the bar, nor is it anywhere near Fflam either. If he had knew that they were after the Llosgi he wouldn't have chosen that damned planet though it was their homeworld, it didn't really relate to the organization itself.
Well at least the Open World is a nice place to be, grabbing a hat from a random table to hide his features and a pair of sunglasses which grumble in complaint but settled rather docile on the bridge of his nose.
'Whoops,' he thinks but continues to wear it anyway.
"... and he said- hey! watch it!" a person exclaim but a sound of sizzling and a deep screech on the side, made Frank turn around in surprise.
"Do not resist, we have gotten data that a wanted aircraft has just landed here, any resistance will be met with termination," A retinal floats through the crowd, backing away from it and the legion of Ince behind it.
'It can't be my aircraft could it?' Frank asks, as he tries to avoid their search, weaving in and out of the crowd.
He was about to leave when another scream followed by a flying Ince made him stop on his tracks, he turns to see who dares-
"Come at me! I'm not afraid of you!" Merquri roars and slams into a retinal.
Frank stood there dumbstruck... he was having an internal crisis on whether to escape or help when another person joins in the fray.
"Oh! Lookie! It's an eyeball!" another familiar voice exclaims and the Retinal lands into the rather expensive looking and pretty fountain, making Frank's heart hurt a little at the crack on the floor.
"Wait... isn't he in that bar fight???" Frank asks, though his memory is a little foggy, it isn't that delicate.
"Fighting the enforcers must be some kind of trend..." Frank mutters as a bunch of criminals in hiding start to pile onto the Ince, despite their efforts, the Ince manages to cast a net over some and fly them back to their base.
The retinal looks rather clear headed but it's veins stretch a little in anger it's pupils shrink and a white light shoots towards the criminals, barely missing a few civilians who stayed because... well entertainment- now they started running when the retinal started becoming serious.
Merquri roars and lands onto where the retinal used to be, Frank was even more agitated. Not the poor fountain... though with their money he bet they can repair it.
He was about to leave since they seem to be handling it quite well when he bumps into someone. Frank's heart skipped a beat... again- this time he almost thought that he was back on Earth. A raven black wavy haired woman with blue pupils looks at him.
"From the east?" he asks.
Before she could reply- a Ince had just finished scanning his pockets and found the key to the ship, a holographic gun appears and luckily the one beside him has faster reflexes and pushed him out of the way of the shock gun.
"Target found," it says and the rest of the Ince stopped fighting the drunkard, tossing him aside, still in their net, they hover over to him.
"What did you do to earn their attention?" she asks in curiosity.
"Nothing, just run!" He exclaims, pulling her along as the Retinal looks at the retreating figures but was distracted my Merquri's hammer. The woman let him drag her around until they reached the parking lot where the ship looks all shiny and cleaned unlike it's slightly dulled look, from grey to polished dark blue.
"Nice ride," she smirks though it's old fashion, it actually looks kind of treasure-like, Frank would admit it inside his head. He climbs up onto the ship.
"I suggest you leave now," he replies. The woman looks behind them, they seem pretty occupied. She stays there even as the ship whirs to life and takes off into the sky. But he didn't go higher, rather he flies towards where the battle is taking place. The ship slams into the retinal, an eyeball flying over the building. The ship opens for Merquri.
"Come on!" Frank exclaims, Merquri nods but she takes the drunkard with her as well before climbing onto the ship. The Ince attacks the ship with dozen of shots yet the ship absorbs the attacks and without a scratch on the glass. As soon as Merquri jumps up however, so did a certain human-looking woman. Without time to ask, he closes the door before they could shoot into the ship and take off. He flies the ship towards space, as Ince could fly, they were safer in the void. Not because they needed to breath however, rather their energy source and body isn't made for space travel.
"Why did you climb up?" Frank asks. The woman didn't reply, rather she takes out a glass knife from her boots and cuts the rope for the drunkard, who groans in agony in reply. Frank didn't know why it was a glass knife but he guessed it was something to do with their custom of some sort. Though like the other person, he finds solid knives rather old school. But the Open World is a pitstop planet, no one can arrive on the planet without a ship.
"Thank goodness! That was close," Merquri grins. Frank narrows his eyes.
"Look muscle girl, you could have just sneaked away instead of playing the hero, what will happen to the princess when she is captured?" Frank asks.
Merquri frowns," Why the princess is in safe hands! Besides, this guy here was about to be burned into crisp," she points towards the drunkard on the ground.
"Why does his survival matter to you? And you'd trust a place you only have been for a day?" he asks.
"Doesn't the Iron Pink look dependable?" she asks. It's Iron Sakura, Frank corrects internally but don't have the energy to say it out loud. She looks dependable? He wouldn't place a plant in their care!
"They looked pretty powerful, and this guy looks hella weak," she taunts, kicking the guy on the ground. He turns around, behind him is a plastic container, one hunters commonly have. The only thing inside of it is a pile of blue goop.
"Jeez, a hunter as well..." Frank mutters, poking the cage." Well we can't leave him here," he adds," doesn't anybody know where this person lives?" he asks, Merquri shrugs and shakes her head, the other person stays silent and un-moving.
Suddenly a 'clank!' could be heard on the side." DON'T MOVE!"
