Game Room

Frank looks around before looking down at where he heard the shout and had to purse his lips to stop himself from laughing. It's the slime, only with a pair of holes for eyes and another for mouth.

"Aw aren't you a cute little thing?" he coos. The slime spits at him and he frowns.

"Make a move and I'll blow this ship up into oblivion!" it exclaims. It burps up a bomb inside the slime, visible to their eyes.

"Bomb!" Merquri exclaims. Frank frowns he didn't know if it was but he couldn't take that chance.

"Look, we will bring you back, there is no need for threats," Frank smiles, trying to look as innocent as possible.

"Don't lie! You're that runaway renegade from the South! I know all about you and your team!" He points to Merquri who turned from surprise to glaring at him.

"You must be mistaken," Frank chuckles nervously.

"You are to take me back!" He exclaims.

"Back? Back where?" Frank frowns.

"To the Open World!" it exclaims.

"No way-" Frank starts but it bounce up and the bomb makes a tick sound. They froze.

"Now!" it plops.

"Okay! Okay!" Frank exclaims, grabbing the wheel. The slime was about to go forth when it was shoved back into the tank as the guy on the ground scoops it up and locks it again.

"bah! Curse you!" it exclaims while hoping up and down but it couldn't be heard from the inside and all they could see was a slime repeatedly jumping inside the container. Seems that the bomb stopped blinking as well. Of course it wouldn't want to detonate it, the small tank is small and expensive looking for a reason and that's because it made up of very strong plastic if it detonate it inside, all it'll do is just blow itself up.

This state of the art material is of course only the richest and the native planet would have this material but seeing the class of the ragged looking guy, Frank is very much convinced it was stolen.

That's why he wouldn't let his guard down yet, but normally it's easily for hunters to be swayed with money or a very strong or rare creature. But now he doesn't have anything good on him, if anything he could get Merquri and the guy to fight each other.

Fighting is way better than defusing a bomb at least.

"I apologise for that travellers," he seems rather sober now, possibly from the shock from the net is very much like a bucket of lava is thrown on him. 'Water... lava... same difference' Frank muses.

"My name is Jang," he strokes his goatee," may I know how to address you?" he asks.

Frank blinks as Merquri introduces herself, if he weren't brawling it out earlier, he would have mistaken him for a martial arts, well-tempered master.

"Frank," he replies. Jang nods and places the cage back on his back.

"May I trouble you to bring me to Fflam? I have a transaction to make," he replies.

Frank smiles and assured that he could get him there free of charge since he was heading there as well. As Jang was already sitting down calmly, Merquri still kept her back away from the guy and focused on him to make sure he doesn't try anything. Seeing a great defence, Frank isn't too worried for his life as he pulls the lever to drive it towards the orange planet.

They land in a rather high tech looking dome, the surrounding of the planet seems rather dangerous and sandy so a huge white dome was visible from afar. Unlike in the Open World, he parked the ship there as usual and made sure to lock it and told them to take anything important with them in case the ship might get jacked.

They walk out of the hangar and were met with a ton of people buzzing here and there. Most traffic however is on the air. Fflam is a bird-like civilisation, so most of their people are flying about while little to no people were walking on the ground. Their appearance however made some glance at them in disbelief.

Frank haven't been here a while but strides into the crowd as if he belonged here. The other humanoids however were more conscious of their presence.

"Mr Frank?" the woman asks, who he still haven't asked for her name.

"Please, just Frank, I haven't asked for your name have I?" he asks.

"It's Fuki," she replies with a smile." Have you perhaps got any other place you're visiting?" she asks hopefully.

"Yeah aren't we just dropping him off?" Merquri asks pointing a finger at the hunter who hugs his catch in his arms which is still bouncing off the tube without noise.

"What? It's got the best games!" he exclaims. As soon as they said that they stop infront of a huge sign in an unknown language. In Frank's eyes however it shows 'Casino'.

Even if they didn't know what it meant, entering it, it was obvious what this was. Merquri tsks in disdain while the hunter easily slips into the crowd.

"We don't have time for this..." Merquri mutters but Frank didn't know what they were rushing for and honestly thought Merquri was just there to company him unintentionally or not.

"Come on~ let loose a little," he beams walking towards the card table. Instead of the usual game, it seemed like they were stacking a card tower with people attempting to push and blow at the card resulting in punches being thrown and creatures that build a wall (both literally and figuratively) to cover it.

On another table, one of the familiar games on Earth is the slot machine only this time one needs to play a luck-based game in order to win big. Frank climbs onto one of them to give it a go and fishes up a 100 credits win. Merquri was keeping an eye out rather than looking at the game while Fuki was just examining everything in a neutral expression, with a tint of curiosity.

"Ain't it fun?" Frank asks already with an armful of tokens and gives one the Merquri, who throws it to a lucky guy.

"This is a bad idea to infiltrate the enemy ranks," Merquri mutters.

"What?!" Frank shouts over the noise of the machines as he lost his tokens as fast as he won them.

"I said!" Merquri booms," we shouldn't be here without a plan!"

"What plan?" Fuki and Frank asks, that's when the doors were thrown open. Squeezing through the crowd is a bunch of Inces.

"What the-" Frank curses out a rainbow," what are they doing here?!" he exclaims. The worst of the worst places and enforcers dare to step foot on this planet.

"What did you expect from the universe?" Merquri asks in mocking but also confusion.

An Ince notices them and hovers over.
