"I can't stop smiling either. You might just end up getting some extra attention tonight."

...

"You can either stay in the guest room or Sara's room," Ayan says, grabbing my bag as I accompany him out of the room.

"Just show me to any room!" I say in a haste, eyeing my bottoms with repulsion. "I want to change badly. They are so sticky; my pyjamas are sticking to my body."

"I know, sunflower," Ayan says, leading me upstairs where there are five doors and towards a room at the end of the hall. "You can stay in Sara's room as it's closer to my room. I can visit you at any time."

"As if that was going to stop you from not visiting me," I mutter with a roll of my eyes, making him wink at me.

"She used to stay with you all even though she's your cousin?" I ask, impressed as he unlocks the door to Sara's room.

"Yeah, she stayed with us for a few years when uncle and auntie weren't living here," he says, not giving me more details.
