"Eat fast, Tara. We're getting late for school!" I hurry, packing her books in the bag while she keeps staring at her plate of breakfast. "Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, Tara!" I chant.

"I don't want to have them," she frowns, pushing the plate away from her. "They aren't cut properly," her voice is filled with a hint of distaste.

"Mom hasn't woken up yet, I had to do what I could do, Tara. You can compromise for one day! Besides, I didn't do such a bad job," I mutter unsure, glancing at a half-peeled apple.

"That's normal. People have apple without removing the skin; you should have it too. It's good for your health."

"I'm so sorry I'm late," Ayan rushes into the dining room, shutting the main door behind him.
