Getting kidnapped, temporarily adopting a seven-year-old, attending a marriage, making new friends... Naira does it all. Amid all the chaos, she'll find not only love but also herself.

What a mess

"I miss you even when I'm with you, Naira."

"Then you're just stupid." I snort. "How can someone miss a person when they are right next to you?"

"I miss what I can have, what we can have in future... I miss it even though I haven't experienced it."

I gulp, averting my eyes, and say, "You're still stupid."

"Shut up, Emily," Rudy pushes her out of the way with his hand, and she gapes at him. "Can't you see we're in the middle of something?"

"Hey, man. What the hell?" Cole gives Rudy a distasteful look, taking a step to stand closer to his bride-to-be.

"They've hurt me so much!" Rudy whines, throwing his hands up in the air. "They-they have w-wounded me! My heart cries!" And with that, he falls on the floor dramatically, covering his chest in his hands. "It bleeds, I tell you! Can't you feel my pain?!"

Drama?!
