Chapter 04

On a small road surrounded by trees, walked our protagonist Naruto Uzumaki, it took three whole days of walking through the forest until he finally found a road, indicating that human beings have been there before and usually use this path, then the road would probably led to a city.

He walked in the road in silence, sometimes humming a little or looking around trying to find something interesting, but all he could see were trees and more trees.

Everything was quiet beyond the sounds of animals for about an hour until Naruto heard an explosion coming from somewhere in the forest to his left, along with a small curse spoken in human language that he could hear due to his Dragon Slayer enhanced senses.

Getting curious about what was going on, he started walking towards the explosion site.

When he got there, he found a rather startling sight; in the middle of a clearing full of burn marks on the ground and small craters, there was an girl of his age fighting a Magic Beast.

The girl had long dark blue hair that almost looked black that was pulled back into a ponytail, but even then her hair reached her knees, her eyes were red and with two small commas around the pupil, she was beautiful, in Naruto's opinion she was just as beautiful as Mirajane.

She was wearing a dark brown Qipao with the red edges and an overcoat the same color as her hair with the golden edges and flower print, she was wearing the same color shin guards as the overcoat and was wearing socks with slippers altogether, she looked like some kind of samurai.

But what stood out the most was the sheathed Katana that she held, it was almost the same size as her, it was a little strange to see a 12 year old girl using a sword that was almost five feet long.

The Magic Beast, on the other hand, was a massive eight-foot-tall and four-meter-long Tiger from head to tail, and besides his giant size there really wasn't any real difference between him and a normal tiger.

The two were in the middle of a stalemate in battle, with the dark blue-haired girl looking at the tiger with a cold stare, and the tiger looking at her like a predator looking at its prey.

It stayed like that for a few seconds until the tiger lost patience and attacked her at an immense speed, he directed a blow with his paw to the girl's head, making it clear that, although the tiger has no difference with a normal tiger other than his own size in outward appearance, he is still a class A magic monster, known for his physical strength, meaning if that blow hit the girl, she would die instantly.

The girl didn't make the foolish mistake of trying to block the tiger's attack and dodged to the left, thus leaving the trajectory of the blow, and the tiger seeing this used his other paw to strike the girl, leaving her trapped, so she had no choice if not jump back, but while still in the air she put a hand in front of her mouth and summoned her magic.

In front of her hands a red Magic Circle appeared and Naruto could hear the Spell's name coming out of her mouth;

"Fire Magic: Great Fire Ball!"

And from the Magic Circle came a giant fireball that directly hit the Tiger and created a small cloud of smoke, when the cloud dissipated it was visible that the Tiger did not suffer much damage from the attack, just a few small scorchs on his fur, but now he was giving the girl an angry look, apparently not very fond of being burned.

The girl got a worried expression when she saw that her attack had no effect, and 'in her little distraction, the Tiger ran towards her with an even faster speed than before, directing another blow to the head, when he realized that it was too late too much to dodge she could only look helplessly as her death approached until she heard another voice;

"Water Dragon's Roar!"

Then the tiger was pushed away from her and straight into a tree by a cyclone of water that came from behind her, when she turned around to see a boy her own age with red hair and beautiful blue eyes that even in this situation fascinated her a little, he was wearing a long-sleeved black blouse with an orange vest, black shorts and blue sandals, and of course, he had a necklace around his neck.

The red-haired boy looked at her with a cheerful smile and waved his hand.

"Hey! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, do you need help with that this?"

The dark blue-haired girl stared at him for a moment before answering;

"I'm Satsuki Uchiha, and no, I don't need any help, I was about to defeat him before you arrived," Satsuki replied in a slightly irritated voice and pouted, not that she's going to admit it, Uchihas don't pouting, after all, but still gave a small smile grateful to Naruto for having saved her.

When Naruto heard Satsuki's last name he got a look of recognition and asked, "Uchiha? So those red eyes of yours are Sharigan, aren't they? But what is a member of the Uchiha Clan doing so far from clan lands?"

Satsuki flinched a little when she heard him talking about her clan, and Naruto realized that, but just as he was about to ask what was wrong, he was interrupted by an enraged roar.

"I think we'd better deal with this issue before we talk, okay?" Naruto spoke as he glared at the enraged Tiger, shortly after saying this his gaze turned expressionless, something that surprised Satsuki, but she decided to ask later when they weren't in danger of death.

The stripes on the Tiger's fur began to glow blue and he started running towards the duo at a faster speed than before, so much so that if Satsuki didn't have her Sharingan, which allows her to see things in slow motion and Naruto their senses heightened they would have been killed without knowing what had happened, the two preteens dodged the claws and ran in opposite directions as they prepared their spells.

The two pointed their hands at the tiger, summoned their magic circles and spoke at the same time.

"Water Dragon's Great Waterfall!"

"Fire Magic: Fire of Dragon"

Soon two spells hit the tiger in opposite directions, from Naruto came a large stream of water that looked like a waterfall and Satsuki's was a large stream of flame that took on the appearance of an oriental dragon's head.

When the two spells hit the Tiger a giant vapor cloud covered the clearing, the duo stepped out of the vapor cloud and waited for the vapor to dissipate to see the result of their attacks.

After a few seconds, the vapor had diminished enough to see the tiger's state, he had several burns on his body and had one eye closed, with the other eye looking at the two humans with hatred, he began to gain a blue aura around of him body.

Naruto, seeing that the tiger was preparing some kind of final attack, turned to Satsuki after having an idea.

"Hey, Satsuki."

"Hn," Satsuki replied with a grunt to indicate he was listening.

"Do you have any spells that can kill the tiger?"

The girl just nodded in acknowledgment of the question.

"I'm going to trap the tiger for a moment, use this spell."

"Hn". She responded with another grunt, she apparently didn't like to talk very much.

Naruto stepped forward and pointed his hand at the tiger, a blue magic circle instantly appearing.

"Water Dragon's Bullets!"

Soon, several adult fist-sized water bullets came out of the Circle and headed for the Tiger, who dodged easily, but the bullets did their part to distract him for a moment.

Naruto raised his other hand, which had a golden Magic Circle, and said;

"Adamantine Chains: Adamantine Prision!"

Soon a giant version of the magic circle Naruto held in his hand appeared on the ground below the tiger and dozens of golden chains with blade tips came out of the magic circle and wrapped around the tiger, pinning him to the ground.

"Now Satsuki!"

Satsuki was not idle while Naruto distracted the tiger, she took her Katana and held it in a Iaido pose, then she closed her eyes and concentrated and the Katana that was still inside the Sheath began to glow in an electric blue light.

Hearing Naruto's warning, she ran towards the tiger at immense speed and her still-sheathed sword left little lightning in its wake.

Satsuki reached the tiger's head in less than a second and finally unsheathed his sword at such high speed that Naruto couldn't even follow as he shouted the spell's name;

"Ad celeritatem Lucis!!

Raikiri!!"
