You Don’t Belong To Me Anymore

When Jinn got to his apartment, he struggled quite a bit. Helping Kai out of the car, getting him onto the elevator and walking him to his apartment, all while the half coherent man was tripping over his own pigeon-toed feet, this was something Jinn most certainly did not miss.

"Kai can you stand up on your own, I gotta get my key.", said Jinn as he leaned Kai up against the wall next to his door. As Jinn reached into his back pocket, with his eyes closed Kai began to slide down against the wall. Quickly pulling his key out of his pocket, Jinn wrapped his arms around Kai, catching him before he fell and Kai let out a cute giggle.

"Come on Kai.", Jinn rolled his eyes as he held Kai with one arm and unlocked the door with the other. Opening the door, the two had finally made it to Jinn's apartment.

Opening his eyes and glancing around, a big smile made its way onto Kai's face, "Jinn…did you know…that…that I use to live here?", he slurred.

"Of course, how could I forget.", said Jinn walking Kai to the guest room. As the two walked, Kai stumbled, nearly falling to the ground, but Jinn tightened his grip.

"Woaw!", Kai mumbled, letting out another giggle. Turning his head toward Jinn, Kai began to sniff him.

"What are you doing?", said Jinn, a smirk on his face as they walked down the hall.

"You smell like…like…really good.", Kai responded, sniffing Jinn again and Jinn couldn't help, but to laugh. Although it was quite annoying when Kai was this drunk, he was still too damn cute.

"Alright, here we go.", said Jinn pushing open the door, going into the guest room and sitting Kai onto the bed. "Let me get you some water.", said Jinn, but Kai grabbed onto the back of his shirt, pulling Jinn backward and making him sit on his lap. "Kai!", Jinn raised his voice, surprised by this drunken man's sudden aggressiveness.

"Where are you…going? Don't...don't leave me.", said Kai wrapping his arms around Jinn's chest and squeezing him tight.

"I said I was going to get you some water, why don't you let me go?", said Jinn doing his best to ignore the fact the Kai was basically feeling him up.

As Jinn struggled to get away, Kai began to slide his hands below Jinn's waist. Roughly grabbing Kai by both wrist, Jinn quickly stood up, letting him go. "No!", he said firmly.

"Why not?", Kai pouted

"Because you're drunk…and…and I can't.", Jinn paused as he spoke.

Lowering his head, Kai furrowed his brows like a child who had just been told 'no'. "Oh right…you…you're not…not mine anymore, you're with him.", he said softly, his eyes watering as he fell backward onto the bed and rolling over so that his back was to Jinn.

Letting out a sigh, Jinn sat back down on the bed as he listened to Kai sniffle. "Kai, that is what you wanted.", Jinn said softly, placing a hand on Kai's back.

"You said…you said you would wait.", Kai cried, his voice muffled by the bed.

"…", lowering his head, Jinn didn't have anything to say, he did say that didn't he.

"Get out.", Kai mumbled.

"Kai..", Jinn began to say, but Kai quickly sat up turning toward Jinn, his face quite red as he started to gag.

"Oh…oh shit!", Jinn shouted as he grabbed the trash from the side of the bed, and quickly placing it in front of Kai's mouth just in time as he spilled his guts. "Are you alright?", Jinn asked, rubbing Kai's back.

When Kai was finished, he sat up eyeing Jinn intensely, his eyes narrowed, his face wet with tears and red. With no expression Kai simply stared, he seemed as though in this moment he understood exactly what was going on. "I…I want to go home.", he slurred softly, getting up off of the bed, and falling onto the floor. Placing the trash can down, Jinn quickly got up, helping him get off of the ground.

"Just stay here, you're a mess right now.", said Jinn, but as he spoke Kai turned to Jinn with tears streaming down his face.

"I want…want to go home.", Kai said again and Jinn sighed, sitting him back on the bed.

"Fine, I'll take you home, let me just put this out first.", said Jinn grabbing the trash can and exiting the room.

Hurriedly, Jinn made his way out of his apartment with the bag, he didn't want Kai to wander off in his drunken state. Running off of the elevator, Jinn went back into his apartment toward the guestroom where he had left Kai, but when he got there, Kai had already fallen asleep. Letting out a sigh, Jinn sat down on the bed, leaning over and wiping the tear that was falling from Kai's eye. "What am I doing?", he thought to himself, what was the purpose of what he had just done? As Jinn sat, his phone began to ring. Quickly pulling it out of his pocket, Jinn silenced it, seeing that it was Richard. Inhaling deeply, Jinn let out a heavy exhale, deciding to let it go to voicemail.

Turning his attention back to Kai, Jinn wiped another tear streaming down his face. "All this time I thought that I was the only one hurting.", Jinn said softly as his eyes watered.

Opening his eyes, Kai squinted as the light from the sun shined brightly. His eyes felt tight and puffy and his head ached, just what the hell did he get into last night, he thought. Sitting up slowly, Kai glanced around the room realizing that he was not at home.

"…where?", he said confused and then his eyes grew wide as he realized where he was. "Oh fuck.", he whispered under his breath, bringing a palm to his forehead. Jinn was somewhere outside of that door and he didn't know if he was going to be able to handle seeing him this morning. He remembered going to the party, he remembered that he had drank a lot, despite Brandon's warning. He remembered that he and Jinn argued for a second and the necklace, the fucking necklace, but his mind was totally blank after that. Letting out a groan, Kai got out of bed, slipping on his shoes that were at the bedside.

Taking a deep breath, Kai quietly opened the door, letting his exhale out softly. Sticking his head out first and looking in both directions of the hall, he stepped out of the room and began making his way down the hall, but when he got there he froze, as Jinn was sitting there on the couch. Letting out a sigh, Kai made his way for the door, "I'm sorry for whatever I did last night, I'll get out of your hair now.", said Kai as he power walked.

When he had reached the door, opening it, Jinn was suddenly at his side, placing his hand on the door slamming it shut. Surprised, Kai looked up at Jinn, his eyes intense. "We need to talk.", he said.

"…", Lowering his head, Kai said nothing, only nodding as he followed Jinn toward the couch, just what the hell had happened last night?

Sitting down on the couch, Kai let out a sigh, "I'm sorry if I was a nuisance last night, I really…", Kai spoke, but Jinn cut hm off.

"You told me that you loved me last night."

With wide eyes, Kai's heart began to race, he didn't remember saying that. "I…I..", Kai stuttered, his eyes watering as he stood. Nervous as all hell, Kai began backing up toward the door, but Jinn stood following him.

"That necklace you didn't care about, you wore it every day while, abroad right?!", Jinn continued, as tears swelled in his eyes.

"Stop.", Kai said softly as the tears finally fell. Turning around to grab the doorknob, Kai quickly pulled it open but Jinn slammed it shut again, grabbing Kai's wrist and turning him around so that Kai was pressed up against the door with those piercing blue eyes only inches from his own. "Jinn..", Kai said softly, but he was once again cut off.

"You left me not because you wanted to, but because you felt you had to!", Jinn shouted

"Let me go!", Kai raised his shaky voice.

"Not until you say it!", said Jinn gripping his wrist even tighter as Kai tried to pull away.

"Jinn!"

"Say it, I want to hear you say it!" Jinn demanded as tears streamed down his face.

Seeing that Jinn was crying, and he wasn't going to let him go, Kai squeezed his eyes shut, "I love you! I love you; I have never stopped loving you!", Kai shouted and suddenly Jinn let go of his wrist. Afraid to open his eyes, Kai stood there raising his hands to cover his face, but Jinn's large warm hands grabbed his own.

"You're shaking.", Jinn said softly, and Kai finally opened his eyes to see a smile on his face, his dimples present like always as his tears fell.

"I'm…I…", Kai stuttered, but Jinn suddenly pulled him closer, embracing him tightly. Closing his eyes momentarily, Kai buried his face in Jinn's chest, taking in the familiar scent that he had missed for so long. Removing one hand from Kai's back, Jinn took a finger, raising Kai's chin to look at him. Not saying anything the two stared at each other for a moment, a soft expression on ones and uncertainty on the other, but before Kai could think any longer, Jinn leaned down, crashing his lips into Kai's.

Even though caught off guard, Kai did not refuse as Jinn passionately kissed him like there was nothing in this world that he wanted to do more. Removing his lips from Kai's, Jinn's tongue gently caressed Kai's ear before going down to his neck. Sliding his hand down Kai's back, Jinn grabbed a handful of Kai's backside as he continued on his neck.

"Mn.", Kai moaned softly as Jinn sucked on his neck. As Jinn's hands caressed Kai's body, his hands made their way in between Kai's legs, but Kai quickly pushed him away.

"No!", he said firmly, his breath heavy.

"I…I.", Jinn stuttered, also breathing heavily as he didn't know what had just came over him.

Not looking Jinn in the eye, Kai let out a heavy exhale, "You don't belong to me anymore.", he said before turning to open the door and leaving out.

Wiping his face as he waited for the elevator, Kai couldn't help that he was blushing, he was turned on and disgusted with himself all at the same time. They were over and Jinn had a boyfriend, just what the hell were they doing? When the elevator opened, a tanned guy with dark hair walked out, he was searching for something deep into his bag not paying attention as he passed Kai by. Letting out a deep exhale, a knot formed in the pit of Kai's stomach, as he watched the man walk away. That person that had just unknowingly passed him by was definitely Richard, the way Kai had studied him so hard the other night, there was no way he was going to be able to forget his handsome face. When Richard had gotten further away, Kai stopped looking and stepped onto the elevator. As the doors closed, Kai placed his head back against the wall, and closed his eyes, he swore to himself that this would be the last time he would ever drink again.
