Jack and I left his place. A neighbor of his he entrusted to watch over his shop until he gets back. He is on his way to meet the fairy doctor, while I'll be meeting Faye and Rhys and be on our way to the castle.
I realized that as we walk, some would turn their attention to us, or specifically, to Jack, who kept his gaze forward the entire time. Some would even whisper among their company while their eyeballs looked straight at him.
I felt uneasy with the amount of attention he is getting, and my mind swirls, thinking of a reason why they're staring at him in such a deceiving manner.
"Just ignore them," he grumbles in a low tone. I push aside the interest of asking him just as his expression tells me that he does not want to talk about it.
