Revealing Her Decisions

Rhys could have devoured everything, including the plate. Faye stared oddly at his uncivil behavior and could not help but rub her temples when she watches him wipe the oils from his mouth and grab another whole chicken. He's eating as if it's his last meal or first in a while.

I sigh, understanding his passion and hunger. I don't know how it must have felt to have your soul taken away for almost weeks. He's lucky that there is no damage in his body or brain; and no memory loss.

"So, I've been wondering," Rhys spoke with his mouth full, making Faye frown, "who are you, elves?" he asks, pointing at Lyra and Talus.

I smile, seeing Lyra and Talus stiffen. Their cheeks heated red, and they push each other to answer Rhys' question. I decided to save them, knowing that they must be in great shock to be sitting in front of Rhys the great as they used to say. They admired him so much before, and I think that admiration stayed the same.
