What is your problem?

Sam's POV

I was standing in between a crowd and I couldn't find her anywhere. Where the hell was she standing. I was angry and tired at the same time cause, I was all fed up with her treasure hunt games. Then, I heard someone scream my name from behind in that busy crowd.

'Hey, Sam! Here...yeah..here!' She said.

She was standing away too far from me but still, I somehow managed to hear her voice. She wearing a dark pink dress with some touch of white and a pair of white shoes. She always preferred shoes over heels. She was looking beautiful. But I never complimented her on my own until she asked me in case she took it in another way. Cause I knew I was not nice to her. I could hurt her feelings. She looked at me and waved her hand fully and gave a bright smile and in response, I gave her a small smile and waved at her a little bit. She came running towards me.

'What is all this Lisa, Why did you call me all of a sudden here.' I asked.

'I...I'll tell you. First....let's..go in.' She said panting.

We went into the cafe, she was very happy. And I really had no idea why. We sat at a corner table and I ordered a coffee for her and myself but she refused. She never refused to have coffee with me but why today? I thought.

'Why?'

'I just don't feel like drinking coffee.' She said and started looking at her phone.

She was acting a bit weird today, I mean whenever we met somewhere like this she used to talk about her daily hectic schedules while drinking coffee. But today, she was different.

'Excuse me.' Said a girl standing behind Lisa and in front of me.

'Yes?' I asked and Lisa turned around.

'Hazel!!' Lisa screamed and grabbed the attention of almost everyone present there.

'You. Are. Late .' Said Lisa and stood up.

'Oh! I'm sorry, you know I was stuck in a bit of traffic.' She said all elegantly.

'Okay okay, leave it. Come have a seat.' Lisa said to the girl and she sat just in front of me.

I knew why she was here, but still, I didn't want to face reality. Maybe what I was thinking was just wrong. I mustered up my courage and asked while drinking coffee.

'Who...is she Lisa?' and I guess it was a mistake.

'Your..blind date.' She said and winked at me.

And...the coffee choked me.

What? Why was she doing to me? I was not interested at all in all this shit. Then, why?

'Bli...blind date?' I asked, coughing.

'Hmm. And...I'll be going now have a nice date, both of you.' She said and even before I could say anything she left me, all alone with that unknown girl.

'Hello, I'm Hazel by the way.' She said with a big smile.

I bowed a bit and tried to smile but it turned out to be an awful smile so I just sat there all quiet.

'I've heard many things about you, but still, I want to know more about you. But if you want I can tell you about me first.' She said.

'Yah please, till then I'll look into the menu...' I said and started staring at the menu. I was holding the menu just in front of my face with one hand while the other gave support to my head.

She said something...

'Umm...Samuel?' She asked knocking on the menu.

I got startled because I was sleeping. I woke up.

'Yah? Oh! Yah..so you were telling about yourself.' I said.

'About me..? I told you about myself just now?' She said.

'What? I...I mean yeah.' I said and laughed to cover the situation.

'But...I guess you didn't listen.' She said with disappointment.

Now it was enough, I didn't wanted to date her. And I didn't want to hurt her. So I looked into her perfect blue eyes and said,

'Look, Hazel, you're beautiful, you're polite and you're humorous too. But I don't think I'll be a nice match for you. I'm just a boring guy, you see.' I said.

'It's fine, we should at least give a chance.' She said with full hopes in her eyes.

Now it was high time so, I said,

'Okay fine I'll tell you, I...I love Lisa. '

'Sorry? You...you mean Lisa, our Lisa?' She asked can't believe what I said.

'Yes, I love her. And I don't want to hurt her feelings. So...please understand.' I said.

'If it was like that..then you should've told me earlier. No problem, Samuel. ' She said with a small smile.

'It was nice to meet you, Ms Hazel. You're the nicest girl I've ever met.' I said and shook hands with her and walked out of the cafe.

On my way home, Jeremy called me,

'Hey, Jimmy, what's up?'

'Don't call me Jimmy it's too feminine and it doesn't go with my personality.' He said and I can imagine him saying that while making his one hand run through his hair.

'Well... I wanted to say, that there's a file that I urgently need to give you so I'm coming to your house. Any problem?' He said.

'No, not at all.' I said.

'As...if I care!' He said arrogantly.

And ended the phone call without any byes. Well, he is he.

I finally went home, took out my shirt, and rested for a while when the doorbell rang. I knew it was Jeremy so I went towards the door.

'Hey, Jeremy come in.' I said as soon as I opened the door and turned to go inside until I realized that it was...a girl!!

I took my shirt which was on the sofa as fast as possible and turned around to see who it was.

'Lisa?? What are doing here?' I asked casually.

'What am I doing here?' She yelled and punched me on the nose as hard as she could. It really... didn't hurt much, but it hurt my feelings. Why she did so...

And suddenly I remembered...

'Sorry? You mean Lisa, our Lisa?'

'Yes, I love her....'

And the pain engrossed my whole nose, she really hit me hard. It didn't felt at first but slowly my nose got red and started to bleed a bit.

'I'm sorry I didn't mean to say those things.' I said covering my nose.

'Are you out of your mind? What did you said, you love me?' She said on a really high pitch.

'Now I get it why you didn't want to date anyone.' She said angrily keeping both the hands on her waist.

'No actually..'

'No. Ex..causes!!' She interrupted, yelling.

'How should I tackle this problem. I really don't know what to say.' She started murmuring within herself rubbing her one palm on her head while the other hand was still on her waist.

'Look Lisa it's not what you're thinking.' I said but she was lost in her murmuring.

I held her shoulders tight and shook her so that she could wake up from her worries.

'Lisa listen!!' I yelled and she started looking with her widened eyes in my eyes.

'I never loved you, you're my friend, nothing else. And that's it.'

'What I said there was just because I didn't want her to date me.'

'But why?' She asked again.

Now it was going too far and to make Lisa realize that I was not lying I had to tell her.

'Okay then, listen I have a problem.' I said.

'What problem?' She said still looking into my eyes.

'My problem is that...'

Sarah's POV

'Mom will be here tomorrow in the morning. So, don't worry there will be always someone in the house so that it doesn't get empty. Okay?' I asked and she nodded.

'Thanks, Sarah for..helping me out.' Said Anna.

I smiled and tugged her into her blanket. Now I was on my bed lying down. I was about to sleep when my phone blinked, I looked at the locked screen of my phone it was a message. I opened it,

'Ms Sarah meet me on the road near my house. It's urgent.'

- Mr Niall.

What? Now? Ugh!!

He is now torturing me through messages.
