Chapter 5: Transitioning - Part 2

…...FengGe tried to save a few people, at first he was having trouble taking control of his powers at first, but when he calmed himself he felt that power surge through his body and he was on a roll. Some people were so badly injured, he wasn't strong enough to help them.

He was getting exhausted as he stopped for a second to look around him then carried on, but his tiredness didn't go unnoticed as a guy walked over to him and told him 'Go Home, you're exhausted' Said the concerned man, 'You have done what you can, go get some rest Jayson'. FengGe looked at him opening his mouth about to say something, but the man stopped him before he could and gestured him away forcefully in a polite way.

FengGe took one last look around then headed home 'If only I was stronger' he mumbled to himself, then he couldn't help but think about how that guy knew his name as he could not recognise his face. The mans face was embedded in his head and for the rest the night he had trouble sleeping he couldn't stop thinking who he might be.

He eventually managed to fall asleep, but was up again at the crack of dawn, so he decided to just go for a run for a couple hours. It had somewhat cleared his head a bit and it was enough to think about what he wanted to do for the day. He started by cooking breakfast for the family, but LongWei wasn't in the house, "He must have popped out for a run" FengGe said to his parents, but in his mind he kind of knew where he might be. He tried not to cause any suspicions, so he just sat and ate breakfast with them, chatting and having a laugh.

When he had finally managed to get himself away and out the door, he headed straight to the temple where the change started to happen. He didn't realise it but he was running faster than he use to. He saw LongWei there in that same spot he saw him a week ago. FengGe waited till his brother had gone, He snooped about looking for hints to what he may have been involved in. He couldn't find anything then he sniffed around and smelt something familiar 'Where have I smelt this odor before' he pondered to himself. FengGe could not figure out where he had smelt the odor before, but he didn't waste anymore time he continued to search for LongWei's sudden transitioning.

After a while he was starting to get hungry, so he strolled through the streets with the unknown scent in mind. He then came across a small restaurant and ordered a bowl of noodles with soup and some dumplings.

FengGe thinking clearly after his meal and thought he had been over-thinking too much about it, 'Maybe he's just growing up, but having said that no one usually changes that quickly' he mumbled to himself.

Throughout the week he went about working, trying not think too much, the way it was before he found out he had gifts to heal. Things were a lot simpler then, now his life has become interesting and unpredictable, even his boss was thinking about expanding his bakery shop as business was blooming.

FengGe felt like he needed more time on his own as each day went by, trying to find himself again and have control of his gift.

He woke one morning seeing flames, he panicked a bit, but quickly realised his room wasn't hot, he was still seeing everything around him crystal clear like it has enhanced his vision. He now understood that the more he grew the stronger he gets as he learns more.

Later that week he took the time to reminisce on the 'random' attacks with that guy, still not knowing whom he was that told him to go home. FengGe thought for a moment and was suspicious…..
