I felt so nauseous that I could throw up right on the spot. We've been flying for hours on end and I couldn't take it anymore. My arms and back was so stiff from being in the same position that it began aching with pain. So I stirred a little just to make myself a little more comfortable.
Unfortunately, Hiccup felt my movement and gave me space to lay with my whole back to him. It was too great of an opportunity to miss, so I positioned myself completely against his chest and let my head lay on his shoulder .
I felt his chest vibrate because of a chuckle. " Are you awake?" He asks brining both of his hands to either side of my waist to hold the dragon. The air that was so vicious before turned to a calm breeze. " Mmm." I hum in satisfaction.
" Good we're nearly there." He replies. " Wait, she's awake?" A boy asks from behind me. " No, I think she's still asleep." Hiccup answers him. " Hey lady! Wake up!" The boy yells from beside me. I thought fast; it would be too unrealistic that I would still be asleep, but I need to act afraid...
My eyes open slowly adjusting to the dark night sky. I blink a few times to chase away the blurriness and look at the figure with pure fear. Yes, I expected a dragon and a rider but, I did NOT expect to see them so close and the human with TWO heads!!
My eyes widen in realization and I let out a loud scream in terror. " Oh! Look she's awake!" The boy on the green dragon exclaimed. I backed to the side trying to put more distance between us, but instead I slipped from the saddle.
The wind past my ears in pure agony as I try to clamp it shut. The sky became further and further until I could only see one blob. It was black which made it hard to see, but I knew that it was coming for me.
Oh please Thor, I'm sorry for hiding Ryker's daggers. I'm sorry for stealing Viggo's books. Please don't let me die!
My impression was that we were above ground .....but we were above water and to be more specific; above the sea. Cold mist clung to the sea below me, making my eyes water from the sting. A cutting sound teared through the air. ( P.S the sound of a Night fury that's flying fast .)
" I got you!" The dragon shouted. No wait, dragons can't talk! I peer over my shoulder and see the ocean advancing towards me. I let out a small sigh in relief. Thank Odin I can swim.
I was getting ready for the cold water to submerge me when I close my eyes shut. My heartbeat felt unrealistic and uneven then, something hit my stomach. The air was knocked out of me as I was tangled in four paws holding me into the air.
" You ok?" The boy shouted from the dragons back. " What the hell?!" I yelled back. " Sorry!" He shouted back. I was thrown forward to the sea again, but then I landed on the back of Toothless. Without hesitation I clawed at whoever sat in front of me.
" So...uh who's it going?" Hiccup asked casually. I hit him hard in the head with the back of my hand. " Ouch uh yeah guess I deserve that." He admitted. The dragon rose to the air catching up with all the other dragons.
" Hey new girl." A boy with back hair greeted. I gave him a glare. " So did you enjoy your dip?" The same boy from the green dragon asked me. I gave him a much more intensified glare. " Okay okay." He held his hands up in surreneder. I got a clearer look at them, luckily it was the dragon that had two heads, not the Vikings.
" So who are you?" A girl asked riding on a blue Deadly Nadder next to Toothless. " Who are you?" I retorted squeezing Hiccups waist a little tighter.
" Okay well I'm Hiccup and this is Toothless," Hiccup began. " that is Fishlegs and Meatlug, that's Snotlout and Hookfang." The dragon who I assume was Snotlout's lit his whole body on fire shocking me temporarily.
" The twins; Ruffnut and Tuffnut and their dragon Barf and Belch and that," He pointed to the girl. " is Astrid and Stormfly." I nod.
" I'm Imora." I replied. " So, Imora. Where do you come from?" Astrid asked sceptically. I thought fast and answered. " I come from the Western isles." I lied laying my head on Hiccups back in fright.
" Why were you on Melody island?" She asked again. " My tribe was scouting." I lied again. " How come you were unconscious?"
" Wow, uh, Astrid maybe go easy on her? She is our guest after all ..." Hiccup interrupted. " Death song attack." I whisper.
The moon illuminated the sky so wonderfully and the wind so calm, I finally peeked out from behind Hiccups shoulder. I was amazed at how beautiful it looked from up here. The sea just added more beauty to its surroundings.
"Wow.." I whisper loosening my grip on Hiccups waist. " It's soo..." I couldn't form the words in my mouth. " Beautiful isn't it?" The boy on the Gronckle asked. I nod breathlessly. I heard a chuckle but didn't pay attention to it.
Under us was an island covered with trees and uneven cliffs. " We're here." Snotlout announced and flew faster. All of the Riders copied this action and soon the dragons landed on the land. They all dismounted their dragons and me still in a trance, still sat on the saddle.
Hiccup noticed and showed me his hand for support, but was soon knocked out of the was by Snotlout. " M'lady." He held out his hand. Sceptical I swung off the other side of the saddle and went straight to Tuffnut. I got near him and hit him in the back of the head.
"Ouch." He immediately held his head. " What was that for?" He wined. " For scaring me." I reply walking off to the strange houses. " I think I'm in love." I heard Snotlout say.
It wasn't long till I heard a clanging of a helmet which followed with a " Ouch." I have to admit I was quite angry even though most of them did nothing to upset me. As I walked past a circle globe contraption, I heard a strange sound.
Like rustling of claws or something . I stop and listen hearing the sound again . I glance over my shoulder to see the 'gang' making fun of each other . I jogged behind it where the source was coming from .
There was nothing there but I heard it.
~ No one's POV ~
As Imora stood and listened to the strange sound, a red dragon like figure appeared crawling over to her. It had sharp claws and it was agitated. The red scaled dragon crawled nearer using his ability to camouflage as an advantage to strike.
Next thing Imora knew is that she was being held down by one of the most feared dragons in her tribe. A change wing...
