CHAPTER one

AVIE'S P.O.V

Beep. Beep..beep. my alarm rang,

What the fuck?  I mumbled to my self, as I sat straight up in my bed pouring In sweat, I quickly felt my shoulder  but felt nothing, I blew out a sigh of relief it was just a dream. 

 Avie?   the familiar voice yelled, and I knew exactly who it was lexi.

Avie are you up yet? lexi shouted from the kitchen, yes, I shouted back as I got up and went to the bathroom,  I started the shower while the water heats up, I walk to sink and brush my teeth, once I am done I stare at my reflection, my dark brown eyes black hair that hangs to the top of my butt, my golden skin, I have a curvy body flat stomach and long legs, but I just wish I had a beautiful face to match, but something's just aren't ment to be, I shrugged at my self in the mirror, and walk in to the shower, quickly wash my hair and body and got out, I walked back to my room and grabbed a bra and underwear and threw them on, I slipped on a pair of shorts and a blue tink top, run a comb through my damp hair, and made my way to the kitchen,, 

Wow avie, you over slept, lexi said it's not like you she added, 

I looked at the time 5:45am, okay I over slept 45 minutes, give me a break I thought ,

I'm sorry, I just had a nightmare, I lied but - she didnt need to know that.

I made breakfast, lexi smiled and handed me the plate of eggs and bacon, ...thanks, I said as i dug in my breakfast,

Avie,

Yes? I said with a mouth full of food,

Will you please come with me - for the summer to my parents house? She begged,,and gave me those puppy dog eyes,  "damn it"  Why must she always give me those eyes? it's so childish, 

Your childish you know, I snapped 

Yes!  but come avie you dont have anything else to do, your uncle and his wife are on a cruise, so why not? She says! with excitement in her voice,

To be honest, I dont have anything to do, and my uncle and aunt was away they needed it after all they've done for me, since my dad died, and god only knows where my mother - was since she left us when I was 2 months old,,

Please? 

I heard That brought me back to the present, What?  i said confused,   were you not listening, to me at all? lexi said with her hands in the air, 

Will you, please come with me? she said again,  I'm not sure, lexi ,I said honestly"  I mean, I'm human and you are all werewolves ,  I mean how do I know I wont end up lunch? I said truthfully, because honestly you just never know, and I didnt believe, lexi when she first told me she was a wolf, until she shifted infront of me, and scared the crap out of me when I saw a white wolf with grey ears looking at me, where lexi was standing ,,  I mean I still haven't completely rapped my head around it, even though I've known about her for a year now,,

You have too,  Lexi snapped, I cant just leave you here alone,,,  she added..

Uh.. why not? I asked, and tilted my head to the left, and eyed her Expressions,

Because! you are  my best friend, who else is going to go shopping with me?and hang out by the pool, and go to parties? She teased''

What if they eat me? I said, a little louder then what I needed to,They are not going to eat you, avie my parents already have your room, ready and the tickets so go pack up! we leave in 4 hours. She said firmly,

Ugh.. fine I'll go pack, I said with my hands in air and walked out  of the kitchen, our apartment was a 2 bedroom one bath- apartment it was a decent place, we painted the walls a creame in color, and hung red curtains and and red furniture- and dark cherry wood end tables and- coffee table, we made the place very cozy!  as I packed my bags, i couldn't help but think if this was the right choice? I mean her parents are nice, I've meet them a few times but that's about it, I kept thinking on the subject while i packed all things, that i needed to, by time i was done, i had 2 duffel bags full of all my things.. once I got down the hall and set my bags by the door, I turn to see lexi coming with 4 bags,  "Wow"

Uh,,, you planning on staying in Virginia permanently? I joked,   Shut up avie!  these are just the things I need for the summer, She stated,  I rolled my eyes, while we waited for uber to get here , I couldn't help but feel nauseous,  I mean I'm going to spend the summer with werewolves' they - could RIP me to shreds right? 

Dont be nervous avie,  its gonna be fine, lexi assured me,   "Easy for her to say"

What if your pack doesn't like me? and they Rips me to shreds?  I said and bit down on my lip,

The lotus pack will love you, just as I do avie trust me, she said and placed her hand on my shoulder, to calm me down, If you say so lexi, said. And besides they will - like the fact that your a runner and kick boxer! she winked and walked back to her room,

I sat by the door, for 20 minutes alone while lexi went to fresh up, before the plane ride to Virginia, I can honestly say that I will not miss Oklahoma at all''

Well?

how do I look?I turn to face her,  and lexi was wearing a light pink dress that hung just above the knee's, and her wavy blonde hair was a little above her shoulders, white skin and hazel eyes, perfect thin body, she was so beautiful, I've always been jealous of her beauty,

"Wow"

you look amazon lex, I said with chippy voice, Thanks she smiled,

Knock knock knock,

We both jump in sync, when the knock came on the door,

That's probably our uber to take us to the air port, she said as she walked to the door and opened it,  sure enough it was the uber, the tall chubby guy with the beard- loaded our bags up, and we headed off to the air port,

 The ride to air port was filled with lexi telling me about her family, (A.K.A) her pack, I was nervous and wasn't really listening to her, 

We pulled up to the air port loaded our bags on the cart , and went through security check which took fucking forever, and I was getting more nauseous the closer we got to board the plane, once we was on plane my palms was sweating, and I was bouncing my leg. I do that alot when I'm nervous,

Avie, calm down dont be nervous lexi assured me again, that everything was going to be fine, easy for her to say right? She is not the one that's going to be ripped to shreds! 

I will make sure everyone treats you with respect,  lexi said and smiled, 

I couldn't help but nod, and smile back her, I laid my head on the window and closed my eyes, hoping that I would fall asleep but no luckAre you happy to be going home? I asked lexi,

She shrugged"   I haven't been back home in 7 month's, I miss everyone...  but I like where I am, she said.

I nodded,  well you look beautiful, all the weremen are going to drool over you, I nudge her shoulder and we both burst out laughing,

Do you really think so? She asked,  I gave her a reassuring smile, very sure I said existed for her,

Well avie your beautiful too, you know that right? She applied. "Ugh" god this girl is totally nuts, if she really thinks that. I'm far very far from beautiful,

Uh.. sure I dragged out, She just rolled her eyes at me, you just dont see what I see- then I guess she mumbled under her breath, I just ignored her,

4 hours and 25 minutes later, we arrived in Virginia,  after getting off the plane and finding our bags we headed out to find a taxi, once we found one! the old grey headed man helped us load our bags in the car, and lexi gave him her parents address- and we headed to her house,

I couldn't help but notice how beautiful Virginia, is way better then Oklahoma.  

Why did you ever leave this beautiful place? I breathed out, 

"Ugh" I needed space,  she was right to the point, I looked at her but decided not to question her about it, The car ride was about 30 minutes long- and we turn down a dirt road drive way with trees on each side, after 4 miles of it a beautiful white mansion  came in to veiw, I gasped at the beautiful house, 

"Oh my god "

It's not that big of deal! lexi brushed off,

Then - I realized I must have said that out loud..
