Moon After Tomorrow

Faint moonlight grazes my insomniac struggle,

Bearing silver threads upon my pained eyes,

Contemplating tomorrows I fear won't arrive

Fearing their arrival on withered longing,

Picturing your silky fingers caress my pale cheeks

Fantasies blend along my drowsy silhouette

Taking in your hand, your cloying smell

Invading my lungs, your diabetic embrace,

Wearing wonder upon my feverish skin

I lay below star's pitying chant

Pitying blindly their deluded enchant

Heeding closely, my desolate cry

Moonlight traces my dazed craze

Sore eyes beholding their silver trail,

Crying over tomorrow's warm veil

Beside my desolate fantasy,

My perennial miracle
