Masquerade Party
Chap.5
They were only a few feet apart from each other, the painful smile could be seen, how forgiving life was Denver thought that it was allowing him to see his friends. Friends were more than family, they are something that can not be explained. Yet, many of you may think friends betray then listen from Denver and Ryan's friendship, those who betray they were never your friends.
Denver gathered his pace towards the exit, he could not wait to embrace Ryan. 5 years of his life faded in a blink of an eye. Happiness took over Denver so much that in a split of seconds a young lady stood in front of him, and him being unable to control his balance fell and the lady accompanying him.
There was a loud thud as their luggage came in contact with the ground. They of course did draw attention both from Ryan and the strangers, they were all watching them. Denver somehow gathered up his strength and stood up, and as he looked towards the lady with whom he just collided, he could see that she was still wincing in pain.
"I am utterly sorry miss", Denver apologized. Just by the scenery presented in front of him, Ryan was questioning his life decisions.
The lady glanced at Denver later at the ground just to see her belongings all scatter on the ground. She stood up, rubbing off all the dust that covered her dress. She was wearing a yellow dress with orange flower patterns, her brunette hair was tidily arranged in a ponytail.
"It is ok, I was not looking at where I was going but I would acknowledge it if you don't just stand there and help me".
Getting what the lady has directed her Denver kneeled organizing all the belongings that were dispersed on the ground. He stole some glimpses of the lady as for she was a beauty to be remembered. However, his wish to know her name was soon shattered as he saw the lady was the first one to leave after arranging her belongings.

"Took you one eternity to come out huh?", Ryan asked, full of satire in his tone.
"I am sorry", and before Ryan could comment anymore Denver gave him a firm hug. He was quite taken back by Denver's doing but eventually followed the flow by welcoming him back. The two shared a deep and calm hug. A hug that could tell the longing of the two for each other, full of excitement, anguish, and gladness.
"You are forgiven", Ryan mockingly said and they both broke the hug with laughter.
"Thank you and believe me I have so much to chat about".
