Part Five

"You can sit on the couch over there, Joseph. I'll get you a cup of water." Nathan said before he left Joseph in the living room and went to the kitchen.

Joseph sat on the couch while looking around the house. Then, Nathan came back with a cup of water.

"Here you go." Joseph took the cup of water from Nathan's hand and took a sip carefully.

They watched TV together and talked about the project after Nathan took a seat on the couch. Joseph was sitting straight as he was a bit uneasy. That's understandable as he was in the same room as his crush.

The two boys sat at opposite sides of the couch and remained some distance. The two boys were a bit awkward at first but then they became comfortable enough that they both sat casually.

" So... Where is Ian? Why is he not coming today?" Joseph asked.

"His new friend, who is supposed to be our fourth group mate, told Ian to join him for a party so he ditched us and went there instead."

"Really? They are so irresponsible." Joseph replied.

"Ian's always like that... Don't mind him..." Nathan answered with his eye rolling.

"So... Do you have a girlfriend or anything?" Joseph asked Nathan all of a sudden.

"No...? Why are you asking?" Nathan said with crooked eyebrows, looking really flustered.

"Nothing, I'm just asking..." Joseph replied with a blush coming up on his face so he looked down to avoid any eye contact with Nathan.

Nathan noticed that Joseph was embarrassed. He sat closer to Harry without thinking twice and yet Joseph was not resisting.

"Nothing? Really?" Nathan asked with a smirk as he lifted up Joseph's chin with his index finger.

"Nay?" Joseph was cut off by a kiss.

"I know that you have been staring at me, Joseph Humphrey." Nathan said before he was pushed on the couch by Joseph.

Joseph was on top of Nathan, pinning Nathan's shoulders to the couch. He then gave Nathan a passionate kiss until they both pulled away to breathe.

The two boys both could not believe what they just did. They both smiled at each other when Joseph was still on top of Nathan.

"My room is upstairs. Do you wanna go there...?" Nathan asked seductively.

Joseph replied by whispering a little "yes" in Nathan's ear before they left the living room with emptiness.

After a long time of "make out session", they both were lying in Nathan's bed. They were cuddling like the one besides them was the only one that mattered.

After the sweet and passionate night, the sun rose and the sunlight penetrated through the blinds. It landed on Nathan's eyes and woke him up. He saw that Joseph was still sleeping next to him like a cute little baby. He got out of bed and left his bedroom.

The next day came as if nothing happened yesterday night.

Joseph woke up eventually and found that Nathan was already gone. He frowned a bit before he went to the bathroom and washed up.

'Where is Nathan now? Why did he leave me in his bed? Did be want me to be gone?' Joseph thought to himself when he was walking down the stairs. He decided to leave the house as he was a bit baffled by the situation.

Joseph reached the door and found a sticky note was on the door. He took it off and read the words on it :

'Dear Joseph,

I made you a bowl of cereal and I put it on the kitchen table. By the way, I'm just leaving to buy something. See u at Uni tomorrow.

Yours sincerely,

Nathan'

"Aww, that's so sweet

Nathan..." Joseph said to himself with a smile on his face and he ate the bowl of cereal that Nathan made him in the kitchen. After that, Joseph got back home.

"Where have you been, sweetie?" his mother asked Joseph as he walked in the door.

"Umm... Ju... Just having a hangover with a new friend," Joseph stuttered.

"It's good to meet up with new friends, but remember to tell me next time, OK? I'm really worried about you." his mom went up to him from the kitchen and caressed his baby boy's face.

"Sorry Mom, I will do that next time..." Joseph replied with reassurance.

"Have you had breakfast? I can make you a sandwich." his mom said.

"I've had breakfast already. Thanks Mom!"

"Okay, I'll go wash the rest of the dishes. Remember to tell me next time!" she said before going back to the kitchen.

Jennifer was sitting on the couch watching TV. She did not have work to do today which was why she was still in the house. Joseph walked pass her and went back to his room. He took a shower and get changed. He kept thinking about last night and guessing what would happen when they met in the University tomorrow.

'Are we going to act like a couple? Will we talk about last night?'

All these thoughts were making him nervous and thrilled.

Meanwhile, Nathan just got back home from the grocery store and noticed an empty bowl on the kitchen counter with a little note in it. He read the note inside :

'Hi! Thanks for the bowl of cereal! I need to go home now! See you tomorrow!'

Nathan's entire face beamed with happiness. He felt butterflies in his stomach when he thought of the boy with those emerald green eyes. He was falling for the boy.

Despite knowing each other for a few days, they felt like they had met each other for a long time. Their hearts were tied together even though now they were in separate places.

At night, they both were staring at the ceiling in their own bed with their minds full of each other. The night eventually passed and tomorrow came.

The lesson was at nine in the morning this time so Joseph woke up at eight and left his home. In the meantime, Nathan was walking towards the University.
