A Crimson Return

Jonathan was still holding his shoulder as he activated his flame crystal and took off back into the crowd. He took his hand from the wound to see it closing slowly, but the pain of bone being slightly chipped still grated on him. He made his way to a less conspicuous side of the ring so he could heal without being bothered, but before he could make it far enough a white aura surrounded him. He sighed in relief as the light sunk into his torn flesh and knitted the bone and tissue back together.

"I know that earth users can heal themselves, but if you take care of every injury what am I here for?" Bianca appeared behind the desert sage.

"We can heal, just not at the speed you can. So thank you, Bianca." Jonathan tipped his hat in appreciation, receiving a giggle from the girl in return.

"We've known each other forever, Mister Carter." Bianca smiled at the name. "I don't think I could watch you suffer if I tried."
