The Crimson Prince: Awakening

Hey guys! I hope you are enjoying what I have so far for my series. I'm going to try my luck at daily releases, but for the next couple weeks it might be hit or miss. I'm in the process of moving to another state, and with a 1 year old, it comes with quite a bit of extra responsibility. I will do my best! I live in the Central Time Zone, and I'm wondering what time you all would like me to release my chapters. Also, if you have any suggestions, or you just want to see more of a character, just let me know!

This is a well crafted western fantasy story involving magic as well as other realities / dimensions. While there are occasional typos they are not frequent enough to detract from the story itself. The main character comes across as realistic as he must overcome his own struggles and affirm his determination in order to grasp the great power that he wields. Overall an enjoyable read so far, I would definitely recommend this book to those interested in the fantasy genre.

It looks like my daily release idea has backfired slightly. I still haven't gotten my things yet from the move and let me tell you, the couch I'm sleeping on does not do wonders for my back. I'm working Tuesday through Saturday on a job that may or may not be the best idea during Covid, but hey, gotta feed the family right? So I am nominating Sunday to be my writing day! As you can see, this doesn't mean I'm just going to write one chapter per week. Instead, I'm going to sit down and release as much as I can within a twelve to fifteen hour period. I'm hoping that you guys are enjoying it so far! If you think that three stars is a bit low for a review, change my mind! I look forward to your thoughts. Let me know if anything should be changed, or if I'm doing great! I'm not giving myself 5 stars anymore, I'll just have to wait and see if you will instead! Upon reading this story. It takes about 40 chapters to get anywhere. But the fact is this book is so incredibly slow. I was falling asleep reading it. The character development is okay. Slow and predictable. The book had good premise but didn't live up to it.

Holy **** I've found a gem. This book is well written, sure there are some typos but not enough that it disrupts your reading experience. The story itself is very original, and the MC is someone with good morals (which I enjoy). Besides that the world building is great, and you don't have a sudden info dump, you do of course have info dumps but they are very natural not like the mc just randomly thinks of it but more like he and his friends discover some info about the world. It's great and it reads freaking awesome. The only point I dislike (but that is more my pet pieve) is that the bad things keep stacking up, like something bad has already happened but now some other bad thing happens to the mc! It isn't bad writing or anything, but I'm more of the focus on one thing type of stories. That isn't gonna stop me from continuing this awesome story! I highly recommend this book, especially if you like magic and fantasy. Also I do have a recommendation to the author, I would slightly change the description I found it rather vague. With the first few chapters I thought it didn't match the description and I was slightly confused until I kept on reading. But that might just be me
