•Awake•

I woke up to hear a beeping noise, I looked over and see my mom sleeping in a chair. Her face was red, it looked like she had been crying over something.. what was wrong? I was confused waking up and reached for her face, before I knew it I was sitting up on my knees and had my hand on her face. She woke up with a surprise but Jane she seen my face she had started crying and hugged me tightly. I let her let out everything but with that warm hug I start crying as well. I didn't know how long I was out or what was going on but to be wrapped in my mother's arms again... it was the best feeling ever.

She sniffled before we stopped, my mom say me down and told me what had happened when I disappeared. Chelsea had come back to my mom and was crying, she told them what happened and a search was on for me but not much came up. Everyone was worried and nobody knew anything until my mom was outside one night hearing screaming from the barn. She assumed it was me and got the police involved again but found us both, we were both taken to the hospital. I figured out I was also out for an entire day!

I was really fatigued I guess but then I sparked, "Maria! What happened to her, Where is she?!" I had to see her! I had to thank her for helping me! My mother gave me a smile that I had so desperately needed for so long. "She's down the hall waiting for you." I also learned that Maria slept for a bit too, but as soon as she woke up she started waiting for me and refused to do anything else other then to see me awake and ok. I smiled as I swung my cast around the hospital bed, "Help me up.. I have to go to her." I needed to see her.

It's weird, the difference between wanting something and needing something. This was weird too, I didn't want Maria I needed her. She was something I needed to survive when it lost counted and now that I figured out what I need I can figure out pretty easily what I want to do next. My mom helped me up before I went into the hallway. I made my way to her door before I finally seen the sign on the door. "Maria Myers..." I smiled at it walking in. When I opened the door. Her bright red hair shined in the light, it was as curly as it could be before she seen me and smiled. My mother let go of me as I went over to her and hugged her, "Maria!" "Lily!" We both had teary eyes as we finally hugged. We got back together after everything, this was my angel. Underneath her murders and bloodstained hands, she was an angel. But it wasn't over.. neither of us were prepared for what could happen next.
