THINGS GONE WRONG

Tonight is the ceremony. The mating ceremony between Melissa and Devaro. She kept on having troubled flashes concluding it to be stress or pretty ceremonial stress but am never one to be optimus tcus. She was pamper and dressed for the day by the she wolves who looked glum and avoided her gaze.

Mel had no memory of them but with the way they worked it became more troubled why, she wanted to speak with them but wasn't feeling that social to when she wasn't told to.

She sat in front of her vanity while her hair was being done, something flashes from the window drawing out her curiosity to investigate.

Bent over she picked up materials with the softest texting words were scribbled on it at tug her brain.

Just then Molly passed through her closed door, her scent and the pulse in her brain were what notified her. She growled at the oddness.

"Molly, please come in here"

She felt her tense and heard her breath out word that sounds too fast and uncatchable before she slowly opened the door with a loud creak, her blonde hair peeps along with her confused face.

"What are you doing over there come on in Molly. Em you are excused ladies"

The maids hurriedly left while she hesitantly entered

"Molly? Why would you leave this assassin distress signs in my room, were you in a gang?"

At first her expression were clueless before being spiked with recognition at some of the symbols

Last night felt like a dream, Molly felt different standing in front of her when just hours ago she was being bitten by two beasts. The bite marks on both the sides of her neck one bigger slowly turning into a tattoo something that resembled a wolf and a moon and the other one smaller with an odd pinkish form, was healing quickly but still too sensitive, she had to display them to avoid the pain and discomfort it left and it also meant avoiding as much people as she could but alas luck was still none existent.

Their eyes locked Molly could almost had sworn at how electricity seem to flow in the air going against everything Cole and Cage ever explained to her, it wasn't the mate bond she felt towards Cage but almost similar.

"Molly you okay? Stop thinking too much about unnecessary things and who is Cole?"

She almost looked surprise but shooked it off remembering last night, last night that Devaro chose to ignore and... And.....

Blinking rapidly and trying to get her mind back to the present she asked with a lot of curiosity.

"What signs?"

Her eyes darted to what was in her hand, widening slightly.

She remembered she recognized them from Xan and Ly who were trying to teach her and she still couldn't understand the words even with how much she tried. Getting back her senses she decided to play dumb to verify her theory and hope Melissa would help translate the words, so she pretended to know but not without stammering along the way.

"Yeah em! I'v been trying to learn them out, you know for em fu..... Future references yeah"

Melissa looked doubtful but the forced smile she shone at her shrugged off her curiosity.

The real Melissa with her own mind in control would never do that, she would pry more till she got the answers.

"Really? Then why words like...? Here to rescue, be safe Ly"

Molly got closer to be sure and inspect the signs that were a formulation of Latin and runes looking clueless to how she was able to understand the nonsense before a light bulb went off in her head.

"Why learn like this? And who is Ly?"

The question made her to stare inqusively at her while Molly looked baffled.

"You don't remember Lydia?"

A gasp escaped her as she shook her head, her mouth opened to explain before closing into a pout. She suddenly remembered Devaro's threat early this morning.

The sight brought tears to her hazel eyes

"Molly you can't learn this. If brother finds out he won't be pleased"

She panicked knowing fully well how not pleased he would be she visualized her though on his anger and not on the fact that the sigh did say help was coming, incase they were picking into her mind, one would never know.

"Please don't tell him and I won't learn it anymore"

Her eyes seemed fearful it spiked up a protective glint in her eyes. Molly almost scoffed.

"Alright..... Why aren't you dressed for the coronation?"

She frowned looking at her pleadingly.

"Must you mate with Devaro, you can give him the title but please don't make the mistake by mating with him"

"Molly I understand that where you are from it different from here but trust me this mating isn't new here. It's been done back then and now it's happening again and to save my Father's line. True Lycans are needed in this world"

"But still"

She began again but was snapped at

"Go get dressed Molly this is happening"

Her eyes showed her deterror with a dejected look , Molly's shoulders slumped she couldn't deny her order so she turned around fast enough that she missed the look of helplessness in her eyes.

*******

It could have been a normal ceremony if the feelings were there. Once again Melissa was dressed in a low off shoulder coronation gown, the type with lot of fluff and diamonds. Her birth mark was evident for the world to see, the tear drop emerald necklace even more pronounced.

Molly looked pale standing beside Micage in front of the throne, darting her gaze at the entrance and the deviously handsome man standing beside them also waiting for his bride, his sister to join him in a union that was wrong and controlled.

A presence was also in attendance, standing in the front row of the servants and guards in attendance. The moment Molly set eyes on her she knew she was trouble, from the creepy smile and dark feelings coming from her. She remembered the maid from last night the one who had left Devaro's room before her ordeal, looking at her now she recognized her as the head maid but something was still off about her, her features seem to be fluttering. Molly could only hope everything went as planned.

An elderly man who was a seasoned wolf took control of the ceremony speaking in a foreign language that was known to few the gesturing of hand were only confirmation of what was happening and the more time wasted made Molly pale with dread.

It has to be a dream. Surely one could wake up from this turned nightmare. But time was silent and a crown was placed on Melissa's head, she had to kneel for the elder man to reach and stayed like that for the rest of the blessings and rituals. Devaro was next and Molly couldn't get anymore sweater than she was. It was hard blocking her thoughts from flying over to Cage and keeping a straight face.

Where was time when you needed it. It was their only surviving grace.

Time itself took a slow motion.

The elder was slower to rise the crown and slower to descend.

Then

A thud was made and the elder dropped the crown into a resounding cluster.

All eyes was on the fallen crown.

Two arrow had made a bulls eye with the gold.

Molly was quick to send a huge grin towards the mop of servants her new senses made her lock eyes with pissed baby blue eyes.

Melissa stood in front of Devaro, locking eyes with the archery.

A breath of fresh air was released from Molly but not Devaro. He had a nasty scowl on his face.

A clash from the entrance before the heavy door broke apart bringing everybody's attention again along with fright and tension. Glowing silver - grey eyes glared back releasing anger growls and snarls.

Time was a bitch and a menace, it was a blessing in disguise.

Molly took opportunity of the distraction, breaking off the pendant on Cage's neck before doing the same to Mel.

Devaro had a dumbfounded look, he was about to scream or use whatever means he could to stop her but Molly was quicker. she threw the pendants on the ground stomping it with her heel.

Everybody froze.

It was like a veil was lifted. The suffocation gone.

Lydia and the rest came rushing in. The relief on her face was transparent.

"Noooooo!!!!!"

A loud wail came from the crowd that replaced the suffocating aura.

"I was this close, this close to fulfilling my plan. Noooo"

The woman dressed as the head maid levitated as she spoke. Her feature changing dramatically peeling off the hologram of what was thought to be her as her dark hair defied gravity, changing color to dark blood red, Her skin drained to a deadly pale almost white, her maid attire was long gone replaced by a dark shadowy gown that moved with gravity, lastly her eyes, They were the darkest shades with yellow Iris.

"Alovia"

Melissa growled out. Her amber eyes glowed. Her wolf awakened with full fury.

Alovia surely hadn't expected to reveal her identity fast. She was filled with so much anger she wailed louder.

She faced her palm downwards voicing out spells in dark tones.

"Noooo!!!! ....... Rece un mio damons"

Her voice shifted out shadows from around her. Shadows that revealed demons who charged ahead.

Melissa shifted to her lycan clawing her way to the front.

There was no question asked but destroy the prominent threat.

It was chaotic.

Molly hid behind Cage, frightened as she watched him defend them in his lycan form. Everybody was trying hard to destroy the demons and get their hands on Alovia.

Devaro's powers on the twins had long since been gone but not his as his heart bled with darkness. His jealousy grew turning to anger that was directed at one person whom he waste no time in charging at. His form had been slightly bigger and more deadly than the twins. Sending his claws downwards, he struck a huge gash on Xander's shoulder, one he wasn't expecting.

Shock appeared followed by anger, his plot never forgotten or forgiven.

Devaro's rage rivaled his, fighting with so much force and animalistic rage.

His opponent abandoned his bow and engaged in a defense dance with him.

The intent clear... Kill or be killed

Upon seeing them Molly upon lack of reason rushed to their middle to stop them forgetting how fragile she was to the world of supernaturals. Her hazel eyes wide and filled with fear, her hair that had been in a perfect crown braid was soaked in sweat. She fell with fear in her eyes and pain. She gazing up into glowing deep blues with a silver ring, who stared at her in shock. Eyes switching from his beast to his normal self , the glowing from his chest hidden from prying eyed reminded her that he was being misunderstood.

It was telling time, neither the enemy nor foe to stop and take in the infect of its crime. Emotions tried to oppress but it was never meant to be oppressed.

"Molly!!"

"No!!"

A werewolf mate can be protective but Lycans, they were times two of werewolves it is always their bloodlust that controls their animal instincts. Micage was there within an heartbeat, His sky blue eyes devoid in silver as he made a deadly move to strike Devaro. Another presence joined them, coming as an angel of mercy when he was suppose to be an avenging angel of death.

His moves were fast and hard engaging the enraged lycan in a dance that took him a few feet away before using his body as a shield.

"Stop!!!!

Devaro good. Devaro charmed"

His robotic voice was filled with the hidden emotion for all to hear, he was a warrior but a warrior by far that confused the others.

Memory was a far cry from being helpfully slow since the beginning of the fight time misunderstood it and brought out pain and anger enraging revenge, but then it brought out mercy.

Swallowing the pain as she recall in her mind whom she was and also wondered why she never took charge before.

Well any evil minded individual wouldn't want the main control easily found but she remembered his glowing chest almost similar to the emeralds and also the warrior's cry. It still wasn't too late, She charged ahead ignoring pain that lashed at her as she pulled off the pendant and stood defensively at his back stopping Xander who was behind her.

"Molly what are you doing? Get away from him"

Her eyes flickered to his while her mind winded filling up all the clues and wondering how on heck she was going to explain before it got more bloody, she was hurt but refused to register where.

But what could she reply with? Could she say villains were not always evil that they were damaged people who seeked redemption that was always misunderstood. Denialance was such a sweet bliss but honesty always fought it.

"It wasn't his fault, Devaro was also charmed"

"I find that hard to believe"

He scoffed out, his glowing eyes showed that his wolf was close to coming forth and attacking. Him shifting there would be bad.

She snapped upset that she couldn't find the right words to use.

"Nobody is beyond darkness neither are they with light Xander, everybody has both essence with whichever they feed the most takes control, Devaro has always been given a choice and he still stands by it"

"Are you crazy?!!"

She tensed the more as another voice flowed towards her, all hair rose from the anger that came with Melissa's voice. The war had somehow seize to a stop with most of the demons dead and their main attention at the scene taking place.

"He is a god- damn mad scientist with a fucking silver tongue power, he wronged both me and Cage, imprisoned my mate, sentenced my brother and family to death, wronged my people.... he even made us hurt you Molly so how can you still defend him"

"He is your brother and family"

It was a pathetic excuse where there was so much hate and vengeance.

"Not anymore"

They held menace. Her words filled with poisonous venom, it was clear there was no saving grace of angel of mercy.

She was conflicted, she glanced at Igaro and the others and felt stuck, she stared into deep blues while she thought how hard it was standing by ones truth. How does one rectify his innocence?, how does a damage person become sane?.

The air thickened as another joined coming a few feet behind them while snarling tauntingly.

"Enough with the talk kill that useless bastard child of mine extract your revenge on him"

She laughed heartedly watching them shiver in conflict. Somehow Igaro understood yet still he couldn't make them understand.

Growls and snarls spread targets while shifted anger moved like a circle. Molly closed her eyes and prayed.

Somehow through the chaos something clicked within Xander, he retracted his claws and took the blooded arrow and bow. His arc was good and target set as he released watching it slay through the air and hit the mark on the chest. They became silent as they watch the arrow continue moving inside her chest releasing her cries and marred her face with anger and hatred.

It happened so fast while they were all trying to pick point how it happened and how it was able to harm the goddess of death who had gotten stronger with the death from the battle.

A dark cloud score straight to him, consuming him in wails of pain, his body burning inside out, another voice joined hiss this one of sorrow.

Alovia fell to the ground in a heap forcing out the arrow that continued to dig deeper. She felt weak, drained, she chocked out blood before disappearing.

Melissa walked at a snail's pace where he laid in a blooded form. Her cries stuck in her throat. Molly fell to the ground in pain, Cage let out an howl another howl of sorrow joined his.

She stood over him tormented with memories of the past with him, his form was disfigure his baby blue eyes stared back at her lifeless. An howl rang again this one filled with so much sorrow, craze and torment filled the halls before a figure shifted form and took off out the damaged door to a damaged world.

A mates lost was the closest to death and things had surely gone from wrong to worst.
