Remember to forget again....

Victoria's POV

Why do I feel so dizzy all of sudden? I looked at the watch displaying 10:00. "What?! shit! We were supposed to be going back today", I get up as the door opened and my two best friends walked in with some food and water with a towel.

"Yeah, lay down, you have a fucking fever sis", Karen said making me lay down again and placing the food on the side table. "What the hell did you do to catch such a high fever?", Kyung Mi asked clearly pissed as she started wetting the towel before putting it on my forehead.

"Thank God, Soobin checked on you in the morning or you would be lying like this and we would think you are just resting", Karen said giving me some pills and water. "Soobin checked on me?", I asked kinda embarrassed. "Yea, he even carried you to the hospital", Kyung Mi said and this is when I realise I'm not in a hotel room but in a hospital room.

"Can we go back, please? I swear I'm fine---", I was cut off by Karen. "Can you like to shut up? You are fucking burning but you don't wanna stay in the hospital because of your some stupid irrational hate towards the hospital?", Karen snapped. They have always been there for me. From childhood till now. 

I feel the pills taking effect since I feel sleepy again and I drift off to sleep without arguing further. The last thing I saw before closing my eyes was the concerned look on both of their faces as they continued doing what they had started.

Soobin's POV

I looked at Karen and Kyung Mi as they came out from her room. They insisted for me not to go since you know girl's stuff kinda thing. A nurse sat inside along with Victoria who was sleeping rather peacefully. "We need to talk", Kyung Mi said as she took the lead. Karen, the boys and I followed her. Karen has a worried expression plastered across her face whereas Kyung Mi has an unreadable straight face.

"guys you need to know something, especially Soobin. We thought we would tell you later but this can't wait since the symptoms started showing.....", her voice shook. I was scared at this point, I was anticipating at what she was gonna say next. "Victoria went through an accident 8 years ago and her part of the brain was damaged. All over she could only remember few of us and..... she gets a memory loss every now and then only remembering us and not what happened in that particular time phase", Karen continued as she tried her best not to tear up.

"The doctor said if we force her into remembering memories, her nerves may blast leading to death. The only way she can recollect her memory is by her self, slowly or not remember at all", Kyung Mi said not holding her tears anymore. Yeonjun comforted her and Gyu wrapped his arms around Karen to call her down. 

"Soobin... I know this is too much to ask for especially since we don't know even know each other well but could you please stay away from her? Soobin you are a large part of her past which means her brain will try and recollect her memories and in the process, there is 90% chance we might lose her.....", Karen said. 

My fist curled up on its own. "I-- I'm s-sorry", I stammered as I took in what she said. Victoria was in such a condition indirectly because of me. I turned around and started speed walking downstairs while they called behind me. I didn't realise where I was until I saw a flashlight. Two pair of arms pulled me on the sideline.

"Are you nuts? ", Taehyun said panting for breath. "If we didn't come behind you, your ass would be in the hospital!", Kai yelled. Suddenly Tae's phone rang and he picked it up. "Tae, is Soobin with you guys? ", Yeonjun said on the other side of the line. "Yes, whassup?", Tae asked. 

"Don't let him do anything stupid also Victoria is conscious again and she... she can't remember anyone except Karen and Kyun Mi.....", Yeonjun said softly. "She remembers Soobin, her memory is back..... ", Yeonjun continued.

"We will be there soon", Tae said keeping the call. I was horrified and anticipated at what was gonna happen next. We walked back to the hospital not displaying any emotions across my face. I opened her room door where she was admitted as the doctor and others stood there.

"No doctor, I promised him I would meet him. You don't understand, he's still waiting for me in Seoul! Let me go!", she said trying to get out of Karen and Kyung Mi's hand. "We will go there once you are healthy ok?", Karen said hugging her. "You promise?", she asked. "Yes", Kyung Mi and Karen said releasing her from the hug and laying her down in the bed as the nurse gave her an injection which made her drift off to sleep almost that instant.

"doctor, is she fine?", Karen said worriedly. "It's hard to say. She can't handle so many memories at the same time. At this point don't force her to do anything. She will be checked properly once the doctor is here. Also, many forms are pending to be filled by her relatives as soon as possible", the doctor said giving them a prescription of the medicines needed.

"Yes doctor, her parents will arrive any moment", Kyung Mi said. I watched everything from afar. I just couldn't wrap my head around what was happening. How did it end up like this?! I breathed in and out trying to calm myself down. After half an hour of sitting with Victoria, her parents arrived. Her mom looked at her and then I and hot tears trailed down her cheeks. Her dad on the other hand trying his best to not cry. Aaron stood behind Cole as his eyes started tearing up seeing his sister like this.

After 12 hours or so she woke up again and looked around as if nothing happened. "Kyung Mi, Karen, Soobin, Taehyun, Beomgyu, Yeonjun, Kai? Wait--- why is mom, dad and Cole here? What's going on?", she asked confused. "You remember us?", the boys said in unison and I was taken back. What was going on? "Funny, of course, I remember you guys! It was just a fever don't act as if I lost my memory or something", she laughed but no one joined. "Wait, are you all serious? I'm fine, I swear. See, I can walk around perfectly fine", she said stepping down from her bed and walking around to show us.

"Yes right. It was just a fever", Cole said handling the situation. "But why are you guys here?", she asked looking at them suspiciously. "we were just worried about you health darling", her dad said and he hugged her family members and said, "Don't worry about me. I'm fine ok?"
