The Disappearance of Spectre ~ Lykfilia

I am so stressed out right now. It's been a day since Spectre came home with Leviathan's memories in a bottle, handed it to me, and told me to give them to him. I did, but he hasn't woken up since, so I'm kinda afraid something happened.

"LYKFILIA GET HERE!"

Oh no. What happened now. Wait a minute- that came from Leviathan's room!

I ran up the stairs, ignoring Reyna and Sirius' questioning looks.

I stopped in front of Leviathan's room for a few seconds to catch my breath before entering it. Inside, Spectre was softly(as softly as possible for her sarcastic persona) talking to Leviathan, who was sitting on is bed, his head in his hands.

The empty memory bottle stood on the nightstand, and it cast no shadow in the early morning sun. Odd. Anyways, I walked over to the middle of the room, and when I was almost to the bed, Leviathan spoke up.

"I've been told I accidentally hurt your feelings Lyka. I'm sorry about that." he said.

"It's alright Leviathan, I understand the situation. You couldn't actually remember who I was." I replied to him without a thought.

"Yeah. Uhm, I don't know if you remember, but there was a certain moment before we left you alone, like, ninehundred years ago-"

"I know. I remember. I never stopped hoping I'd meet you again either, so that way, I never forgot you either." I said.

"I still feel the same." He said, his expression serious.

My heart started beating faster. He did? I'd never thought that he'd still feel that way after a thousand years.

"Lyka? Are you alright?"he asked me.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine." I replied to him, my voice a little shaky.

"OH CAN'T YOU JUST GET ON WITH IT GUYS?!? JUST KISS, MAKE UP, AND BE HAPPY UNTIL SOMEONE DIES." Spectre shouted.

"Spectre, are you okay?" Leviathan asked her.

"No, I am not okay! I have never actually been alright, and you leading me to my death did NOT HELP!"

"Wait what? Is that why you weren't with her when we met again?" I asked, rather confused by Spectre's statement.

Leviathan stood up, leaving me behind him on the bed.

"As I said before Spectre, I'm sorry about that, I didn't know what they were going to do!"

"Oh come on, really? That's the worst excuse I've heard in a long while." She replied to him, and I could see the hate boiling in her eyes.

"I really didn't know Spectre!"he replied to her, obviously hurt by her her words.

I mean, by the looks of things, this wasn't the first time this conversation had happened.

"BUT YOU KNOW WHO AND WHAT I AM! IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU SHOULD AND YOU SHOULDN'T DO LESAUVAGE!"

Oh no. She used his last name, and his last name only. That means that, uhhm, she's quite mad at him, and that there's a slight chance of murder.

Spectre took a deep breath. "I guess I was wrong about you. You're about as unloyal as your father, demon." She said, venom lacing her words. Afterwards, she stormed out of the room, and after a few minutes we heard the front door slam shut.

"Leviathan....what did you do? Because I remember Spectre, and she would never act like this." I asked him, careful not to upset him any further.

"Really? Oh well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you what happened. But not right now, I need to calm down first, before I set shit on fire. Also, don't we have some catching up to do?"

"Alright. But why did she react like that?" I asked him.

"It's related to Lucifer, her friend from one thousand and five hundred years back. I don't know the details, so if you really want to know the story you gotta ask her." Leviathan looked a bit sad.

"Levi...it's not your fault she reacted this way. " I started, but he cut in.

"It is! If I would've just....if I had just been a little smarter, I could've recognized them! And then, I would never have done what I did, and I deeply regret it." He said.

I looked at him, the usually proud vampire was gone, and in the room stood a vulnerable young demon, tired of life encounters.
