"Relax Kim we will find her okay?" Said calmly, Jackson.
I, wish was going back and forth between the sofa and the kitchen table for half an hour now, stopped at his word and screamed in panic.
"You don't understand! What if she had been kidnap?? Or raped! She doesn't know anything about the real world! She's too young and innocent! She's in real danger out here."
Taeo, who was trying to calm me down since we saw the royal guard, took my hand and dragged me to the door.
"Let's go look in the forest when we first saw you. We will camp there and look for a few days and if we don't find her we are gonna look in the near cities okay?" He said looking at me and the others.
I approved good at his idea and everyone got up. That is how we ended up packing a tent and food in the car at 9 p.m.
Soon after we were done so we all hopped in the car even though there weren't enough seatbelts for all of us it was the less of our worries. Since we were missing seats, Aria sat on Jackson's lap.
Back to the forest I could do nothing but look at the window hoping to see my little sister safe and sound. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. Instead of that, I've only met the rain, making me more worried for Julia.
The Grey sky didn't look a little bit welcoming and the cold rain said to everyone to return to their houses. I wondered where could she be? Did she meet someone who had invited her to a place safe from the cold rain outside? Or was she all alone trying to make her body warm and survive the cold night.
I couldn't answer only one of those questions although I wished I could.
As soon as we arrived at the place, where I meet three members of my new family, I couldn't wait anymore and got out of the car letting my body get wet with the cold rain. Taeo immediately followed me and told the others to stay in the car in case they got sicked. He knew I wouldn't stay in even if he tried to hold me. I didn't care if I catch a cold I only wanted to find my sister and he knew that.
Taeo handed me a raincoat and I immediately put it on wanting to waste no time. He did the same and took a flashlight and we headed into the forest.
After an hour of searching where we had looked everywhere, stopped at every little sound we heard, but we could find nothing.
No trace of even a human being was found.
Until we heard someone crying.
I and Taeo looked at each other with big eyes hoping to found the source of the sobbing. We both headed to the north, where we tough the noise was coming from.
After a few minutes of walking deeper into the woods. We saw a form in front of a three. Walking closer we realized it was a girl, a little girl. It wasn't my sister but we were glad we found her. Worries came back for both of us. Taeo and I, both wonder why was she here alone?
"Hello there, what are you doing alone in the woods?" I said calmly.
"I-I lost my daddy..." she tried to say in between her breath.
"Hey don't worry we will help you find him okay?" Taeo was the one to talk to her this time.
"O-okay"
"Now come with us and wear this or else you will catch a cold." Continued Taeo.
"Hey stop crying it's okay I promise you that we will find your daddy okay?" I told her.
"O-okay I will try..."
"What's your name?" Said Taeo changing a little bit her mind.
"I am Georgia and you what about mister?"
"I am Taeo, and this is Kim," He said pointing to me.
"You are very pretty miss Kim," she told me.
"Oh thank you but you are prettier than me Georgia," I answered her with a big smile.
Taeo took Georgia in his arms and we asked her where did she come from. Unfortunately, she couldn't recall so we ended up walking in an unknown direction. Taeo said he knows the woods by himself and there was no way we could get lost.
We spend another hour walking around in the rain but we still hadn't found my sister, neither did we found Georgia's father. It was getting too cold and too dark for us to continue our research that's why we headed back to the car. We decided that Georgia will spend the night with us and tomorrow at the first hour we will go look at the camping ground a mile away from our location.
When we reached the car, we discovered that even though the big rain, the others had still put up the tent. As soon as the other saw us confusion came into their eyes. Jackson was the first to speak his mind.
"Kim, wasn't your sister like sixteenth or something?"
"Yes she is, guys this is Georgie, we found her in the forest. Georgia these are me and Taeo's friends that we talked to you about." I explained.
"What are their names?" asked the lost little girl.
"This is Mark, Jackson, Aria, and the one sleeping is my sister Emily," said Taeo.
"Jackson and Aria are siblings too," I added
"Oh having siblings seems fun, I don't have any..." said Georgia
"Neither do I," said Mark. "But at least we have our parents to ourselves." Continued Mark jokingly.
"At least I have daddy all to myself." said the little girl laughing.
I and Taeo both went to change into some fresh clothes and gave some of our smallest clothes to Georgia, in case she was cold.
We had only one tent and it was getting pretty late. Since we didn't have a lot of space we all slept in the same tent all close to each other, at least we weren't cold anymore.
Everyone had now fallen asleep but I wasn't able to. The sound of the rain hitting the tent was very appealing but my mind couldn't stop running and wondering where could she be? Where could my sister be?
I've tried to sleep but I couldn't.
"You can't sleep can you?" asked a voice full of worries.
I looked behind me to see Taeo looking at me with tired eyes.
"No, I can't..." I answered him in low voice to not wake up anyone else.
"Come here," He told me.
I did as he said and come close to him. I wondered what was his plan but I've soon figured it out. As soon as my body was close to his he hugged me and bring me even closer. His arms hugged my waist and my face was cuddle up in his chest.
It felt weird to be this close to him but it also felt right.
"Try to sleep now okay and don't worry I promise that we will find her." He said before closing his eyes and returning to sleep.
As for me, I didn't know if I would sleep tonight. Yes, I was very comfortable in his arms but the beating of my heart didn't make it very relaxing.
After a few minutes of hearing my heartbeat, fast comfort came and I felt less nervous in his arms. I could feel my eyes lid becoming heavy and my mind starting to calm down. That is how I left to dreamland comfortably cuddle in Taeo's chest.
