A bright light flooded my vision and suddenly we were in the park, the sunlight blinding my eyes immediately. I tried to use my hands to massage my temple but Nathan was holding on to it tightly. Slowly my vision returned to normal and Meredona was skipping to the ruby red swing set.

"Come Quinn, Nathan don't be a bummer I won't hurt her I promise.", she looked almost innocent if you discount her red eyes that made chills run up my spine. Slowly I made my way to the swing set as well and sat down beside her and swung gently. While Nathan looked comical standing by a tree shorter than him.

"Nathan you can come closer." I said he looked towards Meredona who was swinging happily she didn't pay attention to him, so he came closer to the swing set standing right beside me but his head was facing another direction but it was obvious he was listening.

"Meredona, why have you brought us here?", I asked attempting to break the silence.

"I didn't bring both of you, I only brought you but I suppose the mismatch has taken a liking to you. I owe your mother a great debt and I'm here to fulfill it." , she said staring straight into my eyes.

"What do you mean?", to which Meredona sighed and hopped down and came to stand right in front of me. Even with me sitting down she didn't come close to my height.

"I want to show you something, will you let me?", she asked I was hesitant at first but Nathan was protecting me I was sure of that. I stretched my hand towards her and she put it on her head and I was no longer where I was.

The room was hot I could feel the heat could burn my skin but instead I was covered in a warm veil. At the centre was a large cage and inside was a little bundle, I made my way towards the cage when I heard a metal door slam, I saw a monster, it was mostly shadows I couldn't see it's face but chills went up my spine. The thing made it was to the cage and I heard sniffles and small cries from within the cage. The bundle stood up and backed into the corner of the cage, I knew that bundle it was Meredona.

"Meredona run away run!" I shouted for her as the monster moved into the cage and came closer and closer the talons stretching towards her.

"She can't hear you , I mean I can't hear you.", Meredona materialised beside me her cheerful voice now sober.

"What's going on, why are you being held hostage?"

"Just watch it gets better I promise.", her eyes now fixed on the door the monster came out from.

Sudddenly a loud thud was heard and multiple and screams from the hallway filled the tiny room. The monster stopped its movement towards Meredona and instead bared its fangs at the door then the door flew open and hit the monster square in its chest.

A woman stepped forwards she was covered in light, like a second skin like an armour. She removed her face shield and made her way towards the monster who was trying to get the door out of his chest when the woman shoved her spear down it neck and after a few inaudible mumbling the monster dissipated into smoke.

The woman moved towards Meredona and stretched her arms towards the girl and bundled her.

"It's okay little one, you're safe. I'll protect you and you'll protect my kids they'll need someone like you. What's you're name honey?" The woman asked her voice was familiar like honey.

"I don't have one.", Meredona said shivering and clutching onto the lady's light armour.

"All right I'll call you Meredona, now let's go home my kids are waiting." The woman turned and she faced me but I was lost for words.

"Mum...mum...please answer me please wait.", my pleas getting louder and louder as I tried to make my way towards her but it felt like I was dragging my feet in quicksand. And I was back in the park.

"What did you do take me back please, my mum please."

"It was my memory Quinn you wouldn't have been able to talk to her. That's why I'm indebted to you're family. You're parents took care of me. You and your brother were like the siblings I never had, now I'm indebted to protect you both well you, Ben can take care of himself."

"Why don't I remember you then?"

"I had to lock your memories, but let me unlock them." She reached for my head and her eyes glowed red but memories started to flow into my head. I remember everything. Everything

"Mery, I missed you so much." tears trailed down my face and I grabbed her and hugged her so tight.

"Quinny, I know you missed me I missed you too but let me go, your boy toy been really uncomfortable. You know know one has called me Mery in a long time, let's go back to the hospital you're friends are starting to annoy me."

She pulled me up from the swing and pulled Nathan and we were back in the hospital again. Xavier and Xena lunged for Meredona but I pulled her behind me and Nathan pulled both of us behind him. Xena and Xavier froze mid air and just looked at us three.

"Whats going on here?", Fairy asked
