bus stop

Roxanne and Mason were walking to the bus stop, talking about what to do with the cookie dough "so we'll bake them at your house" "I and you both know that's a bad idea, especially when you have a stupid family" "so at my house?" "absolutely, plus your parents will believe anything I say" "I wish you wouldn't talk about my parents like that" "sorry" "it's okay-" he stopped "what's, wrong mason?" "new human...look" the two looked up to see a new boy, he was tall and somewhat slim, he had mud like hair that stuck up, his eyes were a greyish blue, he wore brown-black boots and wore a green work jacket "Roxanne are you okay?" she didn't answer him, she kept her gaze onto the swan that stood in front of her, her eyes wide and her face beet red, she continued to walk forward, entranced by the grace, she had no choice but to get closer to him and study him closer without him noticing, she scanned him trying to find anything tempting, his shoulders were strong and very relaxed, it was satisfying to Roxanne that she could feel comforting shivers down her spine.

the bus ever so sadly pulled up, the boy then turned around and locked eyes with Roxanne, she froze and so did he, they stared at each other deep into the eyes of each other for what felt like hours, until Mason grabbed her and dragged her onto the bus "what is wrong with you today, are you sick" he asked her before forcing her down into her seat "no I'm fine, i just..." Roxanne's gaze then fell back onto the mysterious boy who sat with the popular rednecks "just what?" "... I just stopped" she then threw her gaze off of the mysterious boy and looked at her friend "my throat hurts, got any cough drops?" "I always do now don't I," he said before tossing her the small medicine.

at school Roxanne and Mason went to go and find Riley before a popular girl walked up to them "Hey Roxanne, like the principle would like to see you" she said before popping a bubble and walking away "bitch" Roxanne snarled "what did you do now, do you think he found out about the cookie dough" "oh please Mason, if he found out about the cookie dough he would have sent one of the nerds to come and get us, but since its a popular female girl and a Virgo I would have to say its something about that new kid I bet" Roxanne and Mason looked at Riley "damn your good" he said "thanks I try cutie pootie" she winked before skipping off "did she just call me cute?" "she was just playing" "don't try to make me feel bad" "she says that to everyone" "bla bla bla I can't hear negativity" Roxanne chuckled before heading to the principles office

"Ah Roxanne, I was hoping you would show up" "the hell do you want?!" she asked irritated "I was hoping you would show our new student Rodney around the school and escort him to his class, he's a Sagittarius and the only one im afraid" her eyes fell on the boy she saw before, her hands began to sweat "shall we then" the principle then pushed to two out and closed his door "hi I'm Rodney Medellin, what's your name" he said before holding his hand out, the two locked eyes again "im Roxanne Delaware" "oh is in Cornelious Delaware, evil king who enslaved millions of his people in late 1500?" "yes actually, you know about my family history" "only bits and pieces, I took Spanish mythology where I came from"

"and where would that be?" "windrixville, you probably never heard of it, in fact, it's so small that its off map" "cool" Roxanne then lead the boy to a class where there were plenty of Gemini, hopefully, he would be alright...' wait-" she paused in her steps, thinking about what she had just thought 'what the hell, what's wrong with me'  she then shook her head in denial 'no, not today and not now, I have to grow up, love is for mortals and fools and I am no fool' she then waved bye to the boy before dashing off to class

Lunch

Roxanne kept a close eye on the boy who had been attacking her 'client' and so far nothing has happened "hey Roxanne, did you hear about the new guy?" "no, I haven't, inform me, Mason," she said swallowing a large portion of peaches "well it turns out that he will be joining the archery team and he is great with cars, he drives a ford explorer" "then why didn't he drive to school?" "i dont know?" Roxanne stabbed her peaches with her fork and held it in front of her "he's trying to observe everyone's behavior, find his place" she then chomped on her peaches "he will either be top of popularity or below geeks" "if he is popular" "he will never talk to us, being a Sagittarius means he will adventure, we don't adventure, we stay and make a stand" "you mean i do" "yes of course, sorry" "its okay it was just a little mistake" she said to him, her heart thumped, her eyes shot up "what's wrong" Mason was genuinely concerned over his friend "i sense someone, familiar" she then looked around to see the boy from earlier  smiling at her, her cheeks turned to a crimson red "ROXANNE?!" she shot back to her associate "what?!" "your-your blushing?!" "I am?!" "YES!!" Roxanne then pulled out her pocket mirror and gazed into it, she was haunted by her face daring to turn to that horrid, beautiful, deadly, and lustful color "what do i do?!" she begged her friend "go to the bathroom, put on some foundation and it should hide the color" Roxanne grabbed her bag and dashed out of the cafeteria, dropping her last peach slice onto the cold and infested floor where it will be squished by careless children.

Roxanne was panicked as she applied the makeup "damn, why here, why now" she felt a tingling in her stomach, then in her flower "are you fucking serious" she growled at herself, ashamed of the feeling in her body. Roxanne exited the bathroom but to her dismay, locked eyes with the dark haired gentleman "I saw you run off and I wanted to make sure you were alright, are you okay?" she could feel her face burn as if it were in hell "y-yes im f-f-f-fine" "your stuttering, are you sure?" he then placed his hand on her head which caused her to freeze up and burn brighter "Jesus your burning, we need to get you to the nurse!?" he then grabbed her hand and began to lead her to the nurse "NO IM FINE!!!" she said stopping in her tracks, refusing to move, the boy then let go of her hand "Roxanne, are you positive your fine" she looked deep into  his eyes, honest, soft and gullible, he will never survive with the lying Gemini, the beings with two faces, he will be an easy target for them "yeah, im positive" Roxanne said getting closer to his face, he was blushing madly "you should get going rodney, i hate to see something happen to that soft skin of yours" she said as she slowly fell back, he caught her and held her close to him 

"GODDAMMIT STOP IT!" Roxanne shouted at herself, she continued to put foundation on her face to cover her blush, before leaving the bathroom, to her joy the boy wasn't there but it was also saddening. she walked back to the lunchroom to see Mason talking to Rodney, she walked to the table with caution and dripping wet palms "hey Roxanne, Rodney just wanted to make sure you were alright, he saw you dash out and got worried" Mason said with slight hesitation 'did he see me blush?' she asked herself, self-conscious and terrified she sat down at the table "so where you from new kid, you look like you came from somewhere deserted" "now that I did, windrixville is a very small place and not very well known" Roxanne took mental notes of the boy as he spoke as Mason took actual notes "why are you taking notes?" Rodney asked him "it's just a thing I like to do, it's how I and Roxanne became such good friends actually," he said with a perky smile "so you're the organized one in this friendship?" he asked "no im just the note taker, SHE, on the other hand, is the smart one" Roxanne glared deep into his soul "oh well then can you help me with something?" Rodney asked sweetly, Roxanne could feel herself getting hotter "y-yeah sure, what is it" Rodney pulled out a small paper with a math equation written on it "do you know the quadratic formula ?" "yeah, I know it, -B+or minus the square root of B squared minus 4 AC divided by 2 A," she said almost in song "dang your good," he said getting closer to her, this time she was prepared "thanks," she said to him as the bell rang "well its time to head to class, come on Roxanne" Mason said as he jerked her out of her seat and began to steal her away from Rodney .

when they were far away Roxanne slapped Mason in the back of the head "what the FUCK MAN, IM THE SMART ONE, ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS" "hey I was trying to make you look good in front of the lover boy" Roxanne was furious "he's nothing but another person in this godforsaken school, I will not stoop down to that level of foolishness" "its okay to have a crush, trust me, it happens all the time" Mason chuckled, Roxanne was ashamed of herself, how could she have fallen for someone who was below her, it was pathetic and naive to have fallen for sin "Mason, do me a favor and tell no one, please" "of course I won't, do you honestly think I would betray my friend" he said before wrapping his arms around her neck "thats enough hugging" Roxanne said in a stern tone "right sorry" he blushed in embarrassment.

8th Hour

Roxanne was walking down the halls of the small school thinking 'i am a woman of a straight forward mind, graduate, leave that hell house, find Thomas and Maria and bring dad back from the border then I die' but in the back of her mind she wanted to socialize, she wanted to have friends but she had to stay focus on the task at hand, she had no time for pitiful fun of childish games no, she had one thing to live for and then lights out,"HI ROXANNE!!!"  Roxanne screamed as the mysterious figure laughed at how scared she was "im sorry I scared you-" "WHO THE FU-" she looked at her friend Riley who looked as if she was about to cry "oh Riley, how are you?" she had to mask her anger to not upset the sensitive girl "oh i have good news!" "what is it" Roxanne groaned in her head "you were invited to-" Riley pulled out a red envelope from her purse and shoved it into Roxanne's large chest "Rodney's party on Saturday night, its to get to know everyone so he invited the whole school" Roxanne took the envelope and placed it on her pocket "are you going?" Roxanne asked "totally, he's so hot and this might be an opportunity to show him im not such a nerd after all" "what time" "around midnight, oh and bring a swimsuit, its a pool party" Rileys watched beeped "oh and its 5 seconds before the bell rings, i gotta go" then the bell rung "sorry i meant we gotta go"
