Overhauling Suzuiya’s Misconception, Part 2

The gradient sky was typically colorful, with powerful ultraviolet rays continuously emitted by the hovering golden fireball gleaming into the atmosphere. Most of the animals were awake, same goes for the other yawning individuals. Their energy was restored and they all got ready for another unpredictable day.

It was a quiet morning, or is that so?

Lastly left off, was the premise that an interesting battle was seemingly about to unfold. Of course, as stated before, Aaron was a benevolent young man. And with the help of his integrity, he was able to set aside his anger and handle things differently. In other words, he had no intentions or ideas of fighting a King whatsoever.

But seeing how horrible one could be to another, for him, was a very bothering hand-itching matter, that made his body act autonomously without him having to tell it what to do. He looked at the King and had reminisced about the many other horrible acts he had witnessed that was done by King Adrian.

"King Adrian, I would not be leaving any time soon, unless you listen to what I have to say." Said Aaron.

The king snarled, "I would not have you disrespect me like that!"

Aaron explained as King Adrian approached him, "King, Suzuiya is not who you think she is. It is a simple misconception. And I am sorry for bringing her to you like this, but I already know that I would be held accountable for every cut on your skin by her."

The King pointed his sword, "I do not care about her anymore, that matter is now insignificant. You, on the other hand, must learn your lesson."

"King, I am not going to fight you."

"What are you, afraid?"

Aaron looked at Suzuiya, "Suzuiya has a twin sister, who is responsible for the recent difficulty this kingdom has faced."

"You think I don't know that? Why should I care about that?" questioned the King.

"Are you not going to clear up her name?"

"Why should I waste my time on something so absurd?"

Aaron clenched his fists.

Suzuiya walked up to him and tried holding his hand, "It's okay, Aaron. Let's leave, it's okay. I can live with it."

"What will it take to make you help her?" asked Aaron.

"It is either you kill yourself or drown yourself, any of those will suffice, " said the king.

The King then commenced an assault, "Or, exclusively, I do those things for you!"

Aaron effortlessly dodged, "I already said that I would not fight you."

"You think you are some superior person to me, don't you? I am King! The King! The King of Atridorne! Don't be cocky, did your father not teach you better than this?"

The King thrust his sword, "Fight! You weakling!"

Aaron sidestepped the attack, "How many times have I told you, " Aaron hit the sword out of his hand, "I am not going to fight you."

The King then attempted a kick, "You piece of shit, you think you are so superior to the king!? The king of Atridorne!? I have fought countless battles, you think the inability to utilize mana held me back from winning!? Look at where I am now! THE KING! Of Atridorne!"

Aaron used creation magic to turn King Adrian's clothes into think chains that restrained his arms, "You're the cocky one, " Aaron departed, "Suzuiya, let's go. I'll do it myself."

The King was naked and his legs and arms were restrained by metal chains which were once his clothes. He fell unable to move, "Get back here Aaron! If you walk out now, you can never return to this castle!!!"

Aaron left with Suzuiya.

"You can't leave me like this! I am your king!! The King! THE KING OF ATRIDORNE! COME BACK!!!"

Suzuiya looked at him, "Where to now?"

"We are not leaving just yet, " He grew his angel wings, " We are going to the middle of the Kingdom."

"Why?"

"You'll see..."

Rubin was sitting on a wooden bench next to the Blacksmith's Weapon Shop, "Aaron, there you are. What is it with the messy look? Rather strange seeing you like this, " He said.

Aaron stopped.

Aaron wore a black cloak given to him by Suzuiya, his pink hair was messy and resting upon his face, some strands exceeded even lower than his eyes, affecting his vision. His pants were torn in battle, and he maintained a serious expression.

Aaron looked at him, "A fight, " he kept it short, "I was in a fight, " he continued walking.

Then a hand promptly rested upon his shoulder, "Pat." As he turned around Rubin had already gotten up from sitting and touched him, which obviously took Rubin merely a second to do.

Rubin smiled, "Hey, do you not see a monster beside you, is your hair messing up your sight, " Rubin slowly fixed Aaron's hair, "There, any better?" He then looked at Suzuiya, "Now, do you see the monster? Clearly, your eyes weren't working the last time you defended her."

Bystanders also kept their distance from her and attentively looked at the scenery.

Aaron looked at her, "She is with me."

Rubin's smile vanished, "Aaron, I am getting worried sick about you lately. You've been missing training with utmost truancy, disrespecting people, killing people, missing classes, and now you co-op with a monster? You must clearly be under a spell?"

"I am fine, " Aaron removed Rubin's hand from atop his shoulder, "Go kill monsters or something like usual, don't worry about me, " Aaron continued walking.

Suzuiya didn't follow, "Rubin, is it? I just want to say that I am not who you think I am, " Aaron halted, "you see...my sister's name is Suzuiya and she is an evil witch. Where on the other hand, I am a white witch. With your knowledge, you should know that White Witches are good and avoid harming others at all costs"

Rubin was about to touch her, and Aaron immediately teleported and hit Rubin to his face.

Rubin fell and the punch caught everyone's attention.

Rubin glared at him, " I was only going to read her hand!"

Aaron took Suzuiya's arm, "Let's go, "

As soon as Aaron turned in the opposite direction, he saw Rubin standing in front of him, "Is it a battle you want again?"

"No, but if it is necessary to ensure Suzuiya's safety."

"What is this? You named the beast? I am definitely going to knock some sense back into your head."

Suzuiya clenched her first and pushed her bravery forward, "Gentlemen, Stop!!!"

They both looked at her as she ran the middle of them both.

She kept looking at them, "I would not have you two fight again. What is it with boys and battling? You can speak things out sometimes, " She turned to Rubin "Look, " she opened her hand and reached it to him, "Take my hand. From reading, I have learned that they teach knights and others your age how to read people with nothing but their hands or appearance, with your third eyes. Do it, this should prove my innocence."

Rubin walked up to her and Aaron got ready to attack when crucial. Rubin slowly took her hand and past his index finger along each of her main Palma flexion creases and started to read her like a book.

He then stopped and said, "My God Aaron, you could have just said she was a human and not a witch."

"I am a witch, just a white one."

"She isn't even strong enough to be considered a white witch! In fact, my readings say she isn't a Witch at all. I only sense human. And you should have told me that she had a twin sister."

Aaron looked at him, "Yes. I guess I should have done so. Currently, I need to tell the people about this misunderstanding of who she really is."

"Leave that to me, I'll handle it, " Rubin flew up to the middle of the kingdom and used amplification magic to make his voice audible to all of Atridorne " Good Morning civilians, it appears that we have a misunderstanding at hands. The White Witch is innocent and wouldn't even hurt a fly! She was simply mistaken for her sister who comes here every week and takes one of us as food! So, please treat her with respect, or I'll treat you with none, Thank you."

He flew down, "Aaron, I'll let the managers of the news organization have everyone aware of this. I have to go, take care. Also, please meet me back here at three sharp."

Rubin left, for when he had flown up to the sky, he had seen a giant in the distance and was about to take care of it. As seen several times, he had a passion for hating monsters, and he could not have seen one without immediately killing it.

Aaron sat on the nearby bench.

Suzuiya sat too, "Thank you, Knight, Aaron. Thank you for all you've been through for my sake! I appreciate your help, " Tears came out of her eyes, " You see, I could not have come back to Atridorne and speak to my friends because of my sister, " She took out her final brown bag of Arichrysos (Archerian currency), "Here, take this. It's 400 Achrysos or Arichrysos, whatever you wish to call it. It's all I have for now, but I am willing to pay you much more later, " She pushed her hand forward to him.

Aaron looked at her, "Keep it." He stood, "I don't need money, you should keep it. I did you a favor and you shouldn't have to thank me for it. I failed you anyway. But don't worry, I'll go back for that poor elf. Now, " He pointed, " Go run free, for your reputation is fixed!"

Tears profusely ran down her cheeks and she ran into Aaron with a rather violent hug, " Thank, O thank you, Aaron. Thank you so much!"

Aaron smiled, " Did I not say not to thank me?"

"Sorry."

"O please, stop apologizing. Stop."

"Sorry Aaron."

Aaron smiled again.
