Hello Old Friend

On his way to Pewter City Ash must go through Viridian Forest again, "Viridian Forest Pikachu, so many bug type Pokemon," Ash says out loud as bug type Pokemon are scattering through the bush and buzzing in the sky, just then Ash is hit by something in the back causing him the fall over, Pikachu runs over to Ash as it appears to be a Pokemon that has hit Ash.

Ash stands up and brushes himself off, he looks down "man that hurt, hey are you ok?" the Pokemon turns around and it appears to be a Pink Butterfree. The Pink Butterfree gets up and starts panicking and looking around frantically, Pikachu goes over to her and tries to calm her down but it doesn't work the Pink Butterfree tries to fly off but has damaged one of her wings and falls right back down onto the ground. Ash kneels down and reaches into his bag, "Don't worry I've got a super potion in here" Ash pulls out a yellowish-orange spray bottle from his bag, it has a Pokeball symbol just before the nozzle, Ash spray the Pink Butterfree's right-wing who goes back in pain as it stings her wing, Pikachu reassures the Pink Butterfree as the sting goes away. The Pink Butterfree jumps up and hugs Ash pushing him over Pikachu laughs, "All right all right you're welcome, you're welcome" Ash sits up with the Pink Butterfree next to him and pulls out his Pokedex "Butterfree the flying Butterfly Pokemon, Its wings are covered with poisonous powder that repeals water, This allows Butterfree to fly in the rain." "But this one's different looking than in the Pokedex," Ash says confusingly. "Butterfree have been known to have many different colours and patterns after Professor Gale discovered and researched Butterfree at their breeding ground," the Pokedex continues. Ash looks up at the Pink Butterfree who still looks scared, "What's wrong with her Pikachu?" Pikachu walks over to the Pink Butterfree and they start talking. Butterfree waving her wings out and pointing into the bush, Pikachu nodding his head as a gasp expression comes to his face, Pikachu turns to Ash and points into the bush "You want us to go in there Pikachu?" Ash asked ready to go.

They head into the bush and come to an old warehouse, "Butter" but Ash puts his hand out stopping the Pink Butterfree from going any further, "look," Ash says pointing to the truck full of Caterpie, Metapod and more Butterfree driving into the warehouse. "We have to wait until they leave so we can try and find a way in," Pikachu and Butterfree nod their head as they make their way around the warehouse looking for an opening. The truck drives out of the warehouse "all right this is our chance," Ash tells them as they run out fo the bush straight to the door but it's locked. "hold on, Pidgeot I choose you" a bright light flashes as Pidgeot explodes out his Pokeball flying in the air, "Can you fly us up on to the roof?" Pidgeot nodes his head at Ash, they climb onto Pidgeot's back and flies them up onto the roof. "Thank you Pidgeot," Ash smiles and returns Pidgeot, they walk over to the opening in the roof "Bulbasaur I choose you," Ash lets out Bulbasaur on a platform inside the warehouse, "Use vine whip to carry us to the floor," "Bulba" nods his head as he picks up Pikachu and brings him to the floor, next he picks up the Pink Butterfree but she squeals in pain, "Careful of her wing Bulbasaur," Bulbasaur nodes his head as he gently wraps the vines around her waist and carries her to the floor, now Ash's turn he gets picked up but sees the truck returning from the bush. "Quick guys they're coming, Bulbasaur return," a beam of red light goes to Bulbasaur and surrounds him, shrinking him down and returning him to his Pokeball.

A blinding light covers the warehouse causing Ash to cover his eyes, he regains his focus and notices the men surrounding him, they are a group of thugs wearing baggy black jeans with holes torn throughout the jeans, their face covered in dirt, oil and some of them have an uneven stubble while their shirts dark brown, it looks like they are wearing dirt with a bright flame red DC letters on the front. "Let these Pokemon go!" Ash yells as the Pokemon in the corner trapped in a massive cage look on terrified, "Haha now why would I do that?" a whiny voice comes from behind the men surrounding Ash as they move aside letting the figure appear. "Damien!" Ash yells out furious "You remember me? Why wouldn't you, I mean I am Damien after all," Damien squarks at Ash with an arrogant tone, "let these Pokemon go, they have done nothing wrong!" Ash demands, "I caught them fair and square, you're the one trespassing in my warehouse, now goons go get him," Damien orders his people to attack Ash as they close in on him "get ready Pikachu," Ash tells Pikachu with a battle-ready tone, "pika" electricity comes out of Pikachu's cheeks, Pikachu steps in front of the Pink Butterfree. "ARRRR," the men leap at Ash and Pikachu.

*BOOM

The warehouse door slams open landing on three of the eight goons, everyone stops and turns to the new opening made in the warehouse. A giant Pokemon comes running in taking out another two of the goons with it's giant, spikes horns, "Pidgeot come on out and help," ash yells out, Pidgeot bursts out of his Pokeball and swoops at the two goons about to jump on Ash from behind, one left as the last goon and Damien start running out of the warehouse in panic but are stopped by a medium-small stature samurai looking figure who pulls out his sword from his belt. Damien and the goon stop in fear, "Take whatever you want, it was all his fault" Damien falls to his knees and whimpers pointing to the goon who has his hands up in surrender.

*Smash

Pidgeot's gust causes the goons inside the warehouse to smash into Damien and the goon outside, "Now Pikachu thunderbolt," Ash calls out to Pikachu who runs out into the opening, "pikaaaaachuuuuu" Pikachu's thunderbolt hits Damien and his goons causing a little explosion sending them flying into the air, a star sparkles as they disappear. "Ash Ketchum from Pallet town, long time no see," Samurai says to Ash as his Mega Pinsir evolves back into Pinsir, "hey Samurai, you can mega evolve your Pinsir that's so cool," Ash replies with an ecstatic expression and tone.

The Pink Butterfree swoops in with a steel wing as it appears her right-wing seems to be better, she cuts the lock of the cage releasing the captured Butterfree, Metapod, and Caterpie, they all scamper out of the cage and back into the forest with the Butterfree flying off over the big green leafy trees. Ash and Samurai look on at the bug Pokemon running back into the forest as they see all different types of Butterfree flying over them, orange, red, green, yellow some have lightning bolt patterns on their wings others have shiny black flower patterns, they smile as the Pokemon are free. One of the Butterfree lands on Ash's head, this one a purple one with normal patterns on his wings but an orange scarf around his neck, Ash looks up in amazement as it's his old friend Butterfree, "Pika!" Pikachu shouts out as the Butterfree lands on the ground and hugs Pikachu, Ash picks Butterfree up and hugs him, "Wow Butterfree, you still come back to Viridian Forest," Butterfree jumps out of Ash's tight hug and lands on the ground next to the Pink Butterfree as two smaller Butterfree fly next to him one is a bright pinkish-red while the other a dark blue with pink wings, then a Metapod and tiny Caterpie wiggle up to the Butterfree. Butterfree starts talking and waving his wings, explaining to Ash and Pikachu that this is his family, "That's so cool Butterfree!" Ash says with joy, "You have your own family" "Pika Pik," Pikachu comes up to the tiny Caterpie and pats it on its head.

Ash and Samurai are facing each other as the orange sunset appears in the background, "I must go now, it was nice seeing you again Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, Samurai says bye to Ash as he runs off into the bush. "Bye Samurai, thanks for your help to free the Pokemon," Ash shouts out as he waves goodbye. Ash turns to his old Butterfree and his family with Pidgeot flying behind him, "It was so good to see you Butterfree, and it's so cool you have a family!" Ash smiles, "But I need to get going now, take care of yourself and your family." Ash hugs his old friend and walks off, but Butterfree flies at Ash knocking him over and lands sitting on his chest, "Brreee brrrr" Butterfree says "Huh? Do you want to come with us? What about your family?" Ash replies. Butterfree gets off Ash and points to Pidgeot then back in the direction of Viridian City, "Oh, so you want Pidgeot to take your family back to Prof Oak's lab?" "Brrrr Brrr," Butterfree jumps up and down nodding his head with a smile across his face. "All right," Ash replies as his hand clenches into a fist in front of his face. "Pidgeot can you take Butterfree's family back to Prof Oak and then come back to Pewter City with Butterfree's Pokeball?" Pidgeot nodes his head as the tiny Caterpie climbs on his back and Pidgeot flies up grabbing the Metapod in his claws gently not to hurt the Metapod and flies off over the big leafy trees that appear to give off a bright orange as the sun hits the leaves, Butterfree rubs his head against the Pink Butterfree as the other two Butterfree fly up and follow Pidgeot, the Pink Butterfree and Butterfree stop rubbing heads and the Pink Butterfree flies off after Pidgeot and her family. "To Pewter City Butterfree," Ash says with joy, Butterfree flies into Ash rubbing his cheek against Ash's face whose laughing with a massive smile spreading from his left cheek all the way to his right, Pikachu jumps on Ash's shoulder and joins in by rubbing his head against the both of them, Butterfree fur and Ash's hair spikes up as the static from Pikachu is spreading across their face into their hair.

Samurai running through the dark forest as the sun starts to go down and nightfall falls upon him, he comes to a halt, "Pinsir come out," as a bright light burst into the dark forest. "Pinsir walks over to Samurai and hands him a letter, "Good you found it," Samurai looks down at the letter, its looks extremely similar to the letter Ash got from the mysterious old man but with a number 2 on the back of it, Samurai opens the letter as he brings it up covering his face and reads it carefully in his mind, he looks down at Pinsir and nodes his head.
