A place which was the last option, control room of the 'HIGH NEST'. It was ahuge room with computer screens everywhere and blue neon running the floor. I went up to the smallest looking screen and searched for documents and anything that would make sense.

There were a swarm of results but nothing felt like it was useful. I scrammed through the list again and again looking for something relevant but I didn't find anything. Until then it had been already 15 fifteen minutes, I was waiting for the hosts to arrive and entertain me but they were late.

I reached the last page of the list and in the bottom left was a notification that said,

'NEW ENTRY FOUND'

I clicked on the blinking box and the treasure hunt was over..

The files were about some brain experiment that included pushing active minds into virtual realities. However, it was difficult to procure such active minds so they carried out deep scans on some subjects who volunteered for the experiment. The events of their agreement were not specified.

The subjects were about 200 in numbers and almost half of them, I had to stop when I read that part,

"HALF OF THEM DIED RIGHT AFTER THE SCAN AND A QUATER OF THE OTHER HALF DURING THE SCAN, THE ONES WHO SURVIVED HAVE BEEN ISOLATED FOR THE GOOD WILL OF HUMANITY'

I could feel my hands shake after reading that. If that was true then it meant that there was a good chance that I was responsible for the death over 100 people. The document further stored the information regarding the information. As I went through the lines I feel my heart bursting out and I my blood running cold.

'If it is all true then, I, Rose and Willy we are all...shit ...'

I heard the police sirens and footsteps reaching me, and in excitement I ran as fast as I could. My heart was beating fast and my hands felt like they were about to fall off. I kept running through the stairs and reached the terrace. I banged open the terrace gate and jumped on the dry floor. I could feel tears rolling down my cheeks. I was not sad, I was terrified. I was fucking terrified.
