Chapter 48: #UnsolvedCase: Felicia

"Reaching my deepest condolence to you, Lily" Ivy said, I didn't respond. Wearing black-colored clothing always makes me happy, but today, wearing black-colored clothing didn't put a smile on my face.

Everyone left except me and Mom, I looked at Mom. Her eyes are puffy from crying, watching as Dad's coffin is slowly dragged down to the ground. Seeing Dad's coffin slowly put down on the ground, I don't know how to feel.

"You know.." Mom breaks the silence, "Your dad's cooking isn't tasty"

I let out a small laugh, "I know"

"I'll just comment that it tastes great even though it doesn't, I secretly put things on his cooking to make it tasty" I looked on Dad's coffin and let out a subtle smile.

"But..." Mom paused, trying to hold herself not to cry. Due to the emotions we felt for past few days, Mom couldn't much hold herself but cry. Mom's sobbing and crying made my heart pricked. Pricked by a thousand needles.
