"Should I start forgetting you, hubby?"- FF2

"Oh, Señorita! Your finger is bleeding," Manang Eva said in awe.

Yrrah suddenly woke-up from her deep reverie and pulled back to the present time. Now that she saw the blood dripping from her finger with a small cut of the knife, she felt its sting. She went to the sink and opened the faucet. She let the running water washed it until it suppressed the bleeding.

"Just take a rest. I can manage here," their cook told her.

He went out of the kitchen and he saw the married couple, Uly and Cez, also their housemaids, changing the curtains in the living room. The husband was stepping on the higher step-ladder whilst his wife handed him the new curtains.

She reminisced almost the same scenario.

They've been living on that small condo for about six months already. That was the first Saturday of December. She had no classes in the university and Zach was also off his work. No changes in their routine. If Zach was in-charge in the kitchen, she's in-charge of cleaning the house.

She decided to change the curtains in their condo. It's Christmas time so, she wanted to change it red. She stepped-up on the third step of the 5-step ladder. He wanted to ask Zach to give her a hand so, she doesn't need to go down and up, but she saw him busy on slicing some vegetables.

She removed the summer green curtains with leafy patterned and she was about to go down when her foot was strangled on the curtains that were caught on the ladder. She screamed her lungs out and shut her eyes as she anticipated her body to thug on the hardwood floor. But instead, the warm and strong arms snaked her tiny waistline.

ZACH NOTICED the timid glances of Yrrah. In their six months of being together, they're still like strangers to each other. They seldom talked as they were also busy with their own lives. He's busy in his career as a chef, investing in different companies, management training in the company of Yrrah's father, and stock trading. While his young wife was still attending university. He let her learned how to commute as she didn't want to drive and her schedule was mostly daytime. Sometimes, they can only see each other at dinner time and some weekends.

He saw improvement with his spoiled-brat wife. He knew how she tried her best to do the household chores that she was not used to doing it in her entire life. She finished her culinary course, and she can cook some decent meal but, of course, it still won't pass in his meticulous taste buds.

There was a time that he wanted to teach her, but she insisted to do it her way anyway, as per her instructor's recipe. She's still so stubborn. He chose to remain quiet than to argue with her. She didn't even know that he's a chef himself. Something that he didn't want to tell her or she might feel awkward every time it's her turn to cook.

Zach didn't anticipate that she's going to fall. He's about to hand her the curtain when she slipped. Adrenalin ran into his veins and tried his best to catch her but the dirty curtains were scattered on the floor and he too, slipped on it after he enveloped his arms around her waistline. He fell on the hardwood floor whilst the young lady fell on top of him.

Yrrah's hands behind Zach's head. Somewhat it protected his head. He could smell her body lotion mixed with the sweetness of her sweat. How he wished to stay that way, as his blood started to boil. Especially, that his face was in the middle of her twin hills, hands around her small waist. He's a man, with a beautiful and sexy young wife on top of him. If she only knew how he kept on holding up himself not to lust over her. Or rather, not to take advantage of her.

"Ouchy, my hands!" She pulled her hands that had been squeezed between his head and floor, and flicked them, so his head bumped on the floor. "Oh, sorry."

Yrrah tried to get up and supported her weight by establishing her two hands on each side of Zach's broader shoulder, but it was still hurting so, she tumbled with him again and she felt her chest on his face. Now, she became conscious of their position. And awkwardness filled on the air.

She couldn't comprehend if her heart erratically beats because of their fall or because of their position. Before she could react furthermore, she felt Zach's hands moved to her back as he lifted himself into the seating position. Now, she's seating on his lap.

"You're always so clumsy," he said in a coarse tone.

But then, he held her hands, massaged it gently, and kissed it. Yrrah couldn't take off her eyes on him, bewildered of his actions. Her cold-hearted husband shown concern to her. She couldn't even explain the voltage of electricity that traveled her veins when his soft lips touched the back of her palm. Her heart wanted to pop out of her chest, and it seemed that butterflies were flying gleefully in her stomach.

Their glances met and locked for a few seconds. Then, as if there's a magnetic force that sucking their faces to close the gap. His hands cupped her face as his lips attacked hers. Her hands snaked unconsciously at the back of his neck. He knew that she didn't know how to kiss as she was not responding for a few seconds. He gently moved his lips to her upper lips, just like teaching her how to do it. Then, to her lower lips. She followed his movement and he smiled at the back of his head.

'Did I devirginize your sweet and soft lips, my wife? I've been longing for it for a long time.' The mischievous part of Zach's mind spoke to himself.

Their lips tasted the sweetness of each other's for a few minutes, only parting apart for a few seconds to gasp for their breathing. Then, it mellifluously interlocked again. He couldn't get enough of their kisses and search for an entrance. He bit her lower lips gently and she gasped mutely. He skidded his tongue inside her mouth. Explored every wall of it provoking for a battle mate. She responded after a few seconds, mirroring the movement of his tongue that danced in the rhythm of their whimsical heartbeats.

They felt their bodies burning. As they deepen their kisses, the more they're were being drowned into their insanity. Lust diffused into their system, letting themselves be burned into it.

"Señorita, your cellphone was kept on ringing. It might be important." Yrrah traveled back to the current time when one of the housemaids handed her phone.

She saw that her friend, Neisha had five missed calls already. She heaved a heavy sigh of regret. How she wished that it's Zach who called her.

'Did he ever miss me as well? Is he coming back? What is he doing right now?' Some questions she kept asking herself.

Her phone rang again and the caller ID displayed Neisha's name once more. She answered it.

"Bes, I want to invite you. And this time, I won't accept no for an answer. Someone wants to meet you. Oh my gosh, he's so jowable!" she exclaimed giddily.

Yrrah could almost foresee her friend was like in the moment of peeing. All the men for her are jowable or an ideal boyfriend especially if they're good-looking. Unlike her, she won't easily fall to Adam's kind based on their appearance. Well, except for her husband, or rather soon-to-be an ex-husband.

"I'm not in Manila anymore. I'm at Quezon province," she said, about to decline her invitation again. She seldom joined her friends' gimmick anyway.

"Oh! That's perfect! We are actually going to hike there. Give me your address. Now, besti!" she yelped more excitedly as ever.

This time she couldn't say no, but to give her address. She thought that it might be better to hang out with her friends so, she could divert her mind to something other than her ex-husband's memories.

'Should I start forgetting you, hubby?'
