1. The Wizard named SHAZAM
'Death'
A word that sounds simple but the concept is beyond human understanding. No mortal can escape death, as it is part of the cycle of life.
For mortals it is a concept they fear while for immortals... other than as a tool, it's meaningless and holds no sway over them.
Immortal beings such as Gods do not fear it. Why? Because there is no true death for them. Even if their body is destroyed, it gets reformed as time goes on. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, years, centuries, millennia… No matter how long it takes, they are reborn, thus they do not fear death.
But for the other races… death holds a totally different meaning.
For demons it means reincarnation. They do not go to heaven or hell as they are creatures born inside hell.
Celestials vanish completely without any chance of reincarnation, monsters reincarnate as different beings while the humans… Humans have the most complex cycle of reincarnation… and they are the only beings who can go through the true wheel of Samsara.
Depending on their Karma, humans can either go to heaven or hell. Humans can also reincarnate if the Gods desire it.
But… when they are unable to go to either heaven or hell. They get trapped inside the void.
After death, the void is the worst possible place a human can go to. It is an endless space surrounded by nothing but darkness. No one can escape from it…
But I did.
They promised me… they promised me that after I completed my tasks, I will be freed from the 'Cycle of Samsara.' I would be free and my soul would receive true 'Moksha'. But no… I didn't. They lied... They lied about freedom. Even after I did everything for them, all I received was betrayal.
I made that child, Billy Batson, my champion. After that, I was supposed to be freed… But did I get the freedom that they promised? No, I did not. Instead, I was thrown into the endless void.
I roamed around it for millions of years with the single goal of escaping it. The longer one stays inside the void, the faster they lose their sanity. Yet I had my sanity intact even after millions of years. I had given up hope of escaping it… before that day. The day when I saw light for the first time after countless years.
It was an exit, an exit from the void. I don't know how it was possible. There wasn't supposed to be an exit. I knew that, yet I still searched for it. I knew there wasn't any hope of finding it. But I was wrong… and I am glad that I was.
That fateful day I found a tear within the fabric of the void. There was only one thought in my head… that was to run towards it. And that's exactly what I did. I ran through it and escaped the endless void. But the moment I got out of it. The fabric repaired itself, closing the tear.
I fell from the void into a dimension that I didn't know existed. Even my said 'Omniscience' wasn't able to see this dimension.
But I do not regret it, because I am finally free.
Yet I do not know where I am. I, Mamaragan, the 'Jebediah of Canaan'... for the first time in my life, am not sure about something. For the first time… I feel like I am just a normal mortal, 'A Human.'

I need to find out where I am.
This place is totally different from earth. I have been to many different dimensions in the past but never been to a place like this. This entire place is surrounded by a substance which is unknown to me.
After escaping the void I felt different… and I am not talking about the presence of this unknown substance which felt cold yet calm.
I felt different... physically. I was an old man when I was alive. Because of overusing my powers, my body started aging rapidly until it got locked at the age of 87.
Although my body grew older, my strength did not diminish. I had the blessings… seven to be precise. Strength and endurance were one of those… Yet that strength felt unnatural. Like it didn't belong to me.
But now… I felt naturally stronger and full of energy. I felt… rejuvenated.
I looked around, searching for a reflective surface, more specifically a water source. I was inside a forest and water was the closest thing to a reflective surface in here.
I tried using my powers to create a mirror… but was unsuccessful. I didn't lose my powers… surprisingly. But my powers are being limited or sealed to be precise. Whenever I try to use my powers I feel them being suppressed.

I found a lake after walking for half an hour. I walked towards it and looked at my reflection in the water surface.
I was surprised to say the least. I knew my body changed or rejuvenated somehow. But I was not sure by how much. It was beyond my expectations.
My current self looked to be in its late thirties with long platinum blonde hair and a goatee and moustache. The scars I had were gone which made my pale white skin look flawless.
Previously, I had multiple scars in my body and face, and a large scar on my chest. All of them were gone and instead of my chest scar, there were words carved into my skin. They looked like runes… written in some unknown language.
Funny… because I was supposed to know every language of the past, present, and future.
These runes must be the ones that are limiting my powers somehow. But who carved them into my skin? And how did I revert back to my younger self?
So many questions… but no one to answer.

Splashing water on my face, I decided to get out of this forest.
[Moments later]
This forest is massive… and weird. Species that I have never seen on earth roam here without any restrain.
Right after crossing the river, I got attacked by ugly monsters that looked like mutated gorillas. If not for my powers, I would have been killed by them.
Despite having most of my powers sealed, I can still use my basic abilities. Like superhuman strength, speed, flight, and elemental manipulation. Lightning has always been my strongest element yet not the only element that I could use. Even now I can use other elements like fire, water, earth, air, and so on. But the most I can do with them are some party tricks.
"I will have to get rid of these runes at any cost."
As for the monsters, I didn't even have to use my lightning to kill them as they were super weak. They died from a single punch.
They were not the only monsters though. After realizing that walking was dangerous, I decided to fly…
Just to be attacked by wyverns. But again… they were extremely weak. I was kind of disappointed for not being able to test the full extent of my powers against them. But for now, I would rather look for shelter than testing my strength against monsters.
I have to find some sort of human civilization soon. Because unlike my previous self, who didn't need water, food, or even air to survive… this body was mortal. So I need the basic human necessities.

[Hours Later]
"It took hours… But I have finally found an exit."
I was not tired… I still had my blessings… despite being suppressed, they were present. So, endurance is and will not be a problem for me.
But I was desperate, after living in seclusion for millions of years, I was desperate to meet humans.
I rushed out of the forest as fast as I could. I was fast… extremely so. So, it didn't take long for me to get out of it.
Outside the forest was a small village. The number of houses it had was less than fifteen. But it was better than nothing.
The village was quite impressive. Surrounded by mountains from the north, the dense forest from the west, sea from the east, and plains from the south. There was a railway track passing through the village. So despite being out of the mainlands it was still connected to one of the kingdoms.
Looking around I find a guy walking towards the railway track with a newspaper in his hand.
"Excuse me." I called him.
"Yes?" Looks like I still have the ability to understand and speak any language. The runes on my body must be the only ones that I cannot understand.
"I was on a train but I missed my station and got robbed. I do not know what this place is called as I am from the far north. So I want to know if you would be kind enough to tell me the name of this location, sir." I said in a polite tone.
He looked at me from head to toe before answering.
"You are in Lailas village right now. But you should report the robbery to the council guards. There has been an increase in thefts, robberies and beast attacks recently." He said before raising an eyebrow. "And do you not have better clothes than these robes?"
"They even took my clothes, these robes were the only thing I could find to cover my body." I replied with a sigh.
"I see man… Must be tough. So what are you going to do?" That's a good question.
"I do not know. I do not have any money so I cannot stay in an inn either."
The man looked genuinely sad. He sighed and said. "I am not from here. I live in Magnolia town. As for a place to stay… the only place that will be willing to let help you without anything in return, would be the wizard guild Fairy Tail. They should be able to provide you with shelter for a day or two until you can find a job."
"Fairy Tail?" What is Fairy Tail and what is a wizard guild? Is it similar to the wizard council of earth?
"Ah, yes. You said you were from the north so you might not know about it. But Fairy Tail is the strongest guild in Fiore. As a matter of fact, I am on my way to Magnolia. So you can come with me." He looked towards the newspaper and passed it towards me. "Here, this should give you a bit of information about Fiore and Magnolia."
"Thank you." I said as I took the newspaper.
"Times of Fiore, 9 February, Year X771." Was written at the top of the newspaper.
Whatever happens from now on, it will still be better than being stuck inside the void.

First of all.... MC currently looks like Vlad from the fate series.
This is just a side project, so the updates are going to be unpredictable. I will rewrite this chapter later. As for the plot... it's not difficult to understand, the true Shazam (Wizard) after giving Billy his powers reachs the Fairy Tail world... after all the BS. As for his powers... He did not lose them. They are just sealed (for now). I didn't want him to one shot the dragon gods so I limited his power... (He can still one-shot Gildarts). He will unseal his powers later on. As for how and why that tear appeared? Who changed his appearance and carved those runes? Will be explained later... way later. But yea... That's it. Enjoy the story.]
