Chapter 19
Ian's pov
"Five minuets and i'll collect the papers " Mrs. Jeny said
We have a quiz today and of course I didn't remember,Emily didn't answer my calls all day and obviously I didn't try to call Moon.
I didn't see both of them today and they supposed to be here they know we've a quiz.
"Time's up" she said standing up willing to collect the papers
She kept collecting till she arrive to my desk, she leaned down "Ian where's Emily and Moon?"
"I don't have a clue" i pouted giving her the paper
"When you see them send a warning about missing any quizzes again"
"Sure"
After the class i went to my locker to grab my stuff, I tried to call Em again but still no answers
"Ian" Oh baby I'm smelling a fight
I turned around "Damien" I said faking a smile
"Listen-" I cut him "No you listen i'm in no mood to fight" I said closing my locker
"I'm not gonna fight, I'm here to tell you i agree"
"What!"
"I agree on the judgment but i'm not gonna left it all alone"
"What do you mean by that?"
"You're gonna leave the team too"
"Is this is your new way of solving things...fine I agree" I huffed but i have to agree in the sake off saving her
"I knew you would " He walked past me
I didn't see this coming at all, a piece of me is not buying this at, all how could be this the same person who came to threaten me yesterday? If he didn't ask for something back I wouldn't believe it

Alone and bored i went back home two hours ago, after arguing with nan about watching tv shows i went upstairs to at least do something useful..i think i'll go to the gym
We already have a gym room here but i need to get out of the house
"Nan I'm going to the gym, need something?" I said grabbing my keys
"It's 8:00 PM you can go in the morning "
"Don't worry I won't be late" I said trying to convince her cause really i need to go out and let my anger out in something good
"I won't sleep till you come back" she said and i nodded putting on my sneakers then left
I was about to get in my car but i saw Moon's car pulling over, I waited till she got out and i guess her mother was in the car i waved at her, then she drove away.
"Hi" She smiled while waving
"Hi, what are you doing here?" I said trying not to be disrespectful
"I came to see you, i need to tell you something"
"Ok come in "
"No, we can sit here it won't be long" she said and i nodded walking with her to the bench
"I'm all ears" i sat down
"I'm sorry" she said with a sigh
"For?" I said
"For everything you know about Damien and talking to you in a bad way" she said playing with her fingers
"Okay" I nod
"Okay? That's it" She looked at me in confusion
"I don't know what what to say" I shrugged
"Ian please I said I'm sorry for doing the opposite of what you said I'll stay away from Damien, Alexander, Jessica and Vicky and from anyone
you think will hurt you, me and Em. Ian please I'm sorry" She looked at me with puppy eyes. I looked at her for a minute trying to resist her beauty and the look in her eyes....I groaned
"Okay Okay I forgive you please I'm serious this time Stay. Away. From. Damien" She smiled and nodded her head
"Where's Emily?" She asked
"Wait, she didn't call you?" I said raising my left eyebrow
"No, You didn't see her today at school?"
I shake my head "No I didn't see her today at all and she didn't answer any of my phone calls"
"Why, did you guys fight?" She asked.
"No I called her last night and I told her about what happened and then she out of nowhere hang up"
"Oh...Maybe something bad happened to her Can we go and see her Ian?" she asked nervously. Maybe something bad happened to her what if she got hurt. It's not Emily's habit to not answer my phone calls and when she decided to not go to school she tells me
"Let's go" I hope she's fine

It's now 9:45 and We're now in front of Emily's front door. I knocked on the door 2 times then she opened the door wearing an apron
"Hi" A smile drawn on her face
"I thought you were extinct " I said teasing her
"Why aren't you answering my calls ha!!" I added
"Come on in first " She said widening the door
"No, we just came to make sure you're alright" Moon said
"I know i have to explain myself, As you see i'm in my best appearance " she giggled referring to the apron "Mama forced me to stay and help her clean the house cause first I'm a little messy and second we have some family members coming tomorrow and about the phone Ian, yesterday it ran out of battery and mama took it from me to concentrate you know" she finished
"It's alright, thank god you're ok " Moon said but Em weirdly didn't reply and changed the subject casually
"Are you sure you don't want to come in ?"
"No, it's pretty late and you are already busy " I said
"Okay see you tomorrow" She smiled and closed the door. We walked back to the car and hopped in
I thought i wouldn't talk or open up a conversation but guess what i'm curious about her sudden changeable opinion
"Um...i wanna ask something " I couldn't bear holding anymore
"Sure" She said looking at me while I'm focusing on the road
"Why did you change your mind?"
"Because I thought a lot about what you said and how i treated you yesterday even though you were a little harsh but i know you want the best for me " She answered trying her best not to start another argument
"But you said..you said you like him how are you gonna stay away from him?" I asked holding the wheel tightly oh god how can I control my anger one time is that even possible !!
"I...i Can't like someone who is willing to hurt me, I know it's hard but it won't be harder than a break up plus a chance he could hurt me physically or whatever he does" She answered but i stayed silent
"Say something "
"I really don't know what to say but I hope you the best "
"I know " She said leaning in and suddenly kissed my cheek, I smiled but tried to hide it
"Whoa i saw it, you smiled" she chuckled
"I didn't " I said still trying to hide it
"You did stop lying " she said playfully hitting my arm
"And...you're home" I pulled over changing the subject
"Good night" She mumbled getting out
"Night" I smiled
"Send my love to Nan" She added running to the door
"Send my love?? Ok Shakespeare" I chuckled
"Annoying " She rolled her eyes closing the door then i drove away.
What happened today is weird but at least there's no stupid squad anymore
