Two months later

Ian's Pov

Two months passed without any problems, any fights, any arguments or even that squad situation brought up again, after Moon surprised me by being convinced and Damien's weird acts everything went smoothly, for once I can take a breath and say it can be better not saying that our life is perfect but it's better

I spent lots and lots of time with Moon and Em,

Moon is becoming a main part of my life literally I don't know what is unique about her that attracts me that much but I just feel something and that something can't be described by anything but love, since the first day at school I felt a weird connection when I saw her getting in, I never knew we would be friends in the first place and to be honest I wasn't gonna try to be but when Em did talk to her and we became closer I felt curious to know her more and more as that connection grew more and more she has that weird attraction that kept me going even when I knew she likes Damien, it hurts I won't deny but I couldn't help stop feeling this

I did fell in love before but not like that, this feeling is different but in a good way maybe the past feeling wasn't love..and maybe this is.

But lately I've been noticing something about Emily, she is acting weird especially around Moon especially every time I mention that I want to confess, maybe it's nothing and I'm just seeing things

It's Saturday and right now I'm driving with nan to Emily's house to get her, Moon and rose we're going to the cinema because it's nan's birthday and she said she missed going to the cinema

"Ian, can I ask you a question?" Nan said breaking my deep inner thoughts

"Yeah sure"

"Do you still don't want to see your father?"

"What brought this up now" I huffed

"Because Ian I'm afraid one day I go away and leave you alone"

"Oh please don't say that it's always gonna be me and you"

"No Ian I have to say it you know that day is willing to come..it's my 68 birthday today who knows if it's gonna be the last" She said but her voice broke, I pulled over and looked at her

"Can you please promise me not to brought this up again..I don't want you to think like that, I'm not a kid anymore I don't need him"

"I promise but you have to see him he would be your family after me"

"I love you nan and you're my family..as I said it's always gonna be me and you...and if you really want that I'd call him but not today because we're celebrating" I said kissing her cheek then started the engine again

"Thank you"

....

"Hey Em I'm outside "

"Ok we're coming " She said and hung up

I saw Rose opening the door with Em and Moon behind her they're holding colorful presents boxes and Moon is looking stunning as always

"Happy birthday to you" They all sang hopping in the backseat and nan giggled in happiness

"Thank you all I think this is the best birthday so far"

"And the second best thing that we're going to the movies" Em added while I start the engine

"By speaking of movies what are we watching?" Moon asked looking at me through the mirror

"I wanted to choose but we have a romance fan here she wants to choose so ask her " I said

"I saw a trailer earlier about a movie called Breathe it touched me " Nan explained

"I know this movie it's Andrew Garfield's isn't it?" Em asked

"Yes it's I think I saw the trailer too" Moon said exciting

"Well I guess we all agreed on something" Rose commented

"Five tickets please " I said handing the money to the lady

"Here you are sir enjoy"

"Thanks" I turned around

"I got the tickets lets go we only have five minutes "

"And I got the popcorn"Moon smiled hugging the huge popcorn bowl. We entered and there is a guy leading us to our chairs with his torch

"Right here sir, the first five seats" He said and we nodded

I helped nan to sit on the first chair next to Rose and Moon followed them sitting next to Rose, I was about to sit next to her but Em stopped me weirdly by grabbing my wrist

"No...i want to sit next to her can I?" She whispered and I couldn't do anything but nodded. Ok this is weird but I won't ask cause it will get awkward

Fifteen minutes passed from the movie and I guess nan was right the movie seems very good

"Pass popcorn" I whispered to Em

"Here" she passes it

"How you doin?"

"How I'm doin?... fine " she chuckled

"Don't you wanna exchange seats " I whispered

"No, I'm fine"

"Em show some help..What a shitty friend you are right now " I huffed

"Why do you want to sit next to her"

"You must be kidding"

"Don't say you're gonna confess in a middle of a film" She rolled her eyes..no really What is going on with her!? Why is she acting like that...wait a second is she....oh shit

"Em look at me " I poked her arm

"What?" She turned her gaze to me

"Are you jealous of Moon?" I asked whispering and her expression frowned and I can feel that she's nervous

"What how can you say that? Of course not" she said  raising her eyebrows in confusion

"I thought that-"

"Don't say anything please come " she said standing up exchanging seats with me

"Happy now!!" she smirked

"Yes" I smiled "Ugh don't frown your face"

"Watch the movie Ian" She said turning her gaze to the film

I heard Moon gasping a little quit gasp when she realized that I was next to her, she wasn't paying attention when I sat next to her

She leaned closer "What happened where's Em?"

"We exchanged seats because I want popcorn" Bravo Ian what a stupid primary school student's excuse

"Come on eat with me" she said putting the popcorn on the holder between us

We're not that close but I can still smell her cherry perfume from here, I smelled lots of cherry perfumes but her's suits her perfectly

"He's so pretty" she said out of nowhere

"Yea he's fine"

"Pfft Fine?! he's beautiful " she said staring at the huge display

"Not that much his hair isn't that good"

"Um maybe " she mumbled

"I like your hair better" she added still looking at the display 

I chuckled "Well this is random"

"I know but I really do it's so soft" she glanced at me

"How did you know it's soft when you didn't touch it before?" I asked throwing a popcorn in my mouth

"Well I can know now" And suddenly she ran her long warm fingers through my hair ruffling it "Well it's like how I expected very soft" she said proudly and I smiled at her action. We turned our gazes back to the film and I inserted my hand in the bowl to take a popcorn but instead my hand touched her fingers cause the bowl is empty and I felt that connection again

"Moon" I said without thinking

"Yes"

"I..."

"You what?"

"I..um, I'll tell you later" she nodded and I looked in front of me..why do I always overthink everything

...

"Ugh you ladies stop crying" I huffed hoping into the car

"Ian that was so touching" Moon said sobbing

"I think that kinda love is rare to find these days" Em added sobbing too

"It reminded me of your Grandpa Ian" Nan said wiping a tear

"NO I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE" I said turning on the Radio

After an hour I arrived home after driving them to their houses

"Good night Ian " Nan said closing her door

"Night" I said closing mine

I hopped under the cover holding my phone, then I opened messages

Me: Em I think I'm ready to tell her

I pressed send but it's not delivered

Me: Maybe at school idk but I know that I want to tell her
