In which Hera is accused

"Who?" I asked, Herobrine held up a hand to silence me.

"I can't tell, someone from Mojang." He said, bitterness in his voice, bitterness that rolled into hatred.

This had to be my fault. Ender had asked me to come back, now they were forcing me. Nothing had changed, except now they wanted me, and I no longer wanted them. "It must be my fault."

Herobrine looked slightly confused. Before he could ask I said, "I ran into Ender after you left. He asked me to come back. He said that my father had misjudged me." I laughed coldly, "if only they had realized that years ago. I threw it all in his face and left."

I expected Hero to get angry, because he had wanted me to come and I hadn't. But instead he started to smile, in fact he looked positively gleeful. "All these years Hera, I've waited for you."

"And now I've come."

His smile shrank, "and so have they." He turned away and walked to the entrance.

"Wait- where do you think you're going?" I put my hands on my hips.

He looked amused when he turned, "to deal with the uninvited party."

"I'm coming." I said flatly.

"Me too," Evelyn piped in.

Herobrine stopped, "no," he said softly, "they know I'm here, but if their here for you then its dangerous for you. Let me deal with them." His eyes flared, "stay here with Evelyn."

We both watched him walk away.

"Are you planning to stay put?" Evelyn said.

I snorted, "of course not. Are you?"

"He said to stay with me, Let's go then."

Evelyn caught my hand and we followed after Herobrine. He was so intent on his target he failed to sense us. Keeping us quiet was a whole other problem. Evelyn was a bit clumsy. She'd say it was due to almost dying, although I knew her better then that. She mouthed sorry repeatedly to me. I won't be surprised if anyone in the general area knew we were here.

Ahead Herobrine sighed, "why do you have to be so much like me?" He peered at us.

Evelyn shrugged, "since when did any of us sit out in a dangerous situation."

Herobrine shook his head, "at least wait to see who it is, we don't want to crowd them."

"Fine," I said.

We continued to the door, Evelyn and I slipped behind a pillar to watch. Herobrine walked out into the open to greet our visitor. Finally someone was walking the bridge to the castle, and I recognized him immediately. EnderSpark.

He was not the easy going EnderSpark I knew, he looked serious and slightly grim. He held his hands stiffly at his side. When he was close enough to speak he stopped, which was just barely out of range, he seemed to be suspecting a fight.

"Is that Ender?" Evelyn whispered, "I know him." She rubbed her temples, "I just can't remember how."

I realized Evelyn didn't remember that Ender was her father. It wasn't the time to tell her though.

"Herobrine," Ender greeted, he bowed his head slightly.

Herobrine didn't move or copy the greeting, "what have you come for?"

Ender shook his head slightly, "always to the chase still I see."

Herobrine growled slightly, "answer the question." I knew he was being defensive because of me.

"I have reason to believe you are harboring a fugitive," Ender replied. I watched Herobrine clench his fists tightly.

"And who is this fugitive I am supposedly harboring."

"A creature by the name of EvelynEnder."

Evelyn..? I looked over at her and she looked shocked. She seemed to mutter 'I didn't do anything..'.

Herobrine didn't looked shocked, but I could tell this threw him. Part of him surely relaxed knowing I was safe.

"This is a matter of revenge, surely you understand that. Evelyn murdered Steve, your younger brother. Though you have no love for Notch, surely you care to catch your brother's killer." Ender soothed, I watched Herobrine twitch slightly, I realized he was losing his temper at the mention of Notch. Ender continued, "give Evelyn over to us and I will leave you alone. Otherwise, all this time I've been hiding your location, if Evelyn remains here then I will expose you to Mojang."

Herobrine was shaking slightly, didn't Ender see this. I had to stop this now.

"Evelyn didn't kill Steve," I shouted, I stepped out from my hiding place. I walked straight up to Herobrine and took his hand. He looked angry that I'd revealed myself, but I didn't care.

Ender looked at me sadly, "don't tell me you're caught up in this mess too Hera, I expected better." Now I risked losing my temper, I took a couple deep breathes.

"I was there to witness the killing of Steve, Evelyn tried to save him. It was Entity 0."

Ender shook his head, "Entity 0 was attacking a different site."

"That's not possible," I said, "I saw Entity 0, so did Penny and Tyson."

"Penny and Tyson claim that EvelynEnder killed Steve."

I remembered Entity 0 whispering to them. "Entity must of messed with them then."

That's when I remebered my strongest riskiest play.

"Evelyn is your daughter Sparky, she wouldn't do this."

Ender looked very confused and slightly offended, "my daughter Evelyn is dead."

"No I'm right here!" Evelyn said.
