The Sahara Battle

As we arrived there, I wasn't sure if we headed the right way.

No one was in sight. it all seemed as if it was just a normal pathway.

One of the soldiers grabbed their walkie-talkie quickly. "Sir, I don't see anything. Should we go back?" he said. I looked confused. Was this a joke? We're we being tricked?

Something caught my eye. A glint, a very small glint was on the back of the soldier's head. Sniper.

"Watch out!" I shouted. The soldier was shot dead. Shouts raised from the area.

"He's been shot!"

"We're being attacked!"

Everyone got in position. We went behind hills, loading our rifles and putting in our ammunition. My gun clicked. Few groups of Japanese and Germans were in front of us.

"Attack them! Shoot them dead!" people shouted. I led my fire-arm to the side. I shot my first target. Perfect. Sounds of shooting and screams filled the place.

I fired my shotgun. Few men died in seconds. I thought I was doing well.

"Tyrant!" someone shouted at the right of me. I looked to the right. Someone started choking Glenn. I'm tired of people hurting Glenn, the only family I had!

I ran through the bullets that whizzed through the mist. I got my pistol and shot the man dead. "Glenn!" I shouted. Glenn's eyes were red. His throat was red, bright red.

"Thank you," Glenn said. I looked around. "You need a medic. If you need any help, I'll be right where you are," I articulated.

"It's okay, Tyrant. But that wasn't the reason." I looked at him, confused. I got more scared. "Th-then why?"

"Someone was about to kill you, someone from our group." I got ten times more scared. "Tell me! Who?" "Jack," he said.

"I need to tell you when this is over. All I know is that he's a spy." I was infuriated. My hatred had risen to know that Jack was an enemy of us. But what information was he trying to capture?
