He couldn't believe it. He wanted to touch his face, his hand reached out to him by itself, but Chao got scared. What if it was a dream? He stopped and with the same hand, he slapped his cheek lightly to wake up.

He heard a raspy chuckle from Yitian and he jumped for the alarm button. He pressed it hard and waited for anyone to come. He was hovering above Yitian, scared to touch him.

"What happened?" Doctor Bai ran through the doors and halted beside the bed. He looked at the vitals and checked everything.

"Dry... thirsty…" Yitian tried to say, but it was so quiet and incomprehensible he feared that they would have no idea what he said. But as usual, Chao knew.

"Can he drink something?" He asked the doctor, who nodded.
