Chapter 19

Emerson's POV

"Jenny!!"

I screamed and the time stopped.

The gun fell from Neil's hand and his hand started bleeding.

I looked at Jennifer who was also confused.

"Am I on time son?" I turned back.

"What an epic entry Dad!!" I said shocked. He smiled.

And Jennifer? She was confused and shocked. May be because she had never seen her older boss in action mode..

I went towards Jennifer and freed herself from the ropes tied around her. She hugged me tightly and tears started running out from her eyes.

"Are you okay babe" I asked her and she just nodded. I know she was in no state to answer.

"Take her out.. we'll handle here." Dad said and I nodded.

When we passed through dad he caressed her head and asked her to stay fine.

I carried her out and made her sit on a chair.

"You please go inside Emerson. Your Dad might be in trouble" she said.

"It's okay Jenny.. he can handle himself." I said calming her but she requested again and I couldn't refuse her this time. I asked her to take care of herself and went inside. Our men were doing great and only a few of Neil's men were left and he was still fighting with my Dad.

One of the man attacked me from behind and I twisted his arm and kicked him where it would hurt him a lot. I was handling another man when I heard a loud thud.

I turned and saw dad on the ground bleeding and Neil pointing his gun at him.

His finger was on the trigger and he was about to shoot. I ran towards him and kicked his hand making his gun fall on the ground. I helped Dad get up. This made my blood boil. I grabbed that bastard with his collar and punched him harder. "This one is for kidnapping my girl" I punched him again. "This one.. for touching her with your dirty hands" he was already bleeding. Another punch.

He fell on ground. I pulled out my gun and pointed towards him. "And this one for hurting my Dad" I said and shot him.

"Emerson!" Jenny shouted and ran into my arms.

"I. I thought he.. he". She was breathing heavily.

"Sshh.. I'm fine Jenny.. " I calmed her and she relaxed a bit.

We went to dad whose nose was bleeding.

"Are you fine Mr. Hemsworth? Omg your nose is bleeding. Emerson do something. Omg.. I'll call ambulance. Please take him to hospital.. i"

Both of us started laughing at her.

"Oh Jennifer I'm fine.. we have gone through worst.. it's nothing. You please relax. Emerson please take her with you." Dad said

"But Emerson should be with you Mr. Hemsworth"

She said and Dad requested me to take her.

"Take care of the bodies" Dad said to the men and they all nodded.

I took her to the car and made her sit and helped her with the seatbelt.

I then entered myself.

"I'm not a baby Emerson" she said.

"You are my babe." I said. She blushed and looked away.

I started driving and we were soon far away from the place which was no less than a nightmare for us.

Jennifer's POV

When I heard the gun shot. The first thought which came in my mind was Emerson. I thought I lost him.. I ran inside and found Neil lying on the ground and Emerson was fine. I ran into his arms. I was shivering. My heartbeat was increased. He calmed me down. When he drove away from that place . I got a bit more relieved.

"So.. Sophia told me that you wanted to tell me something" he said and I became a statue.

"No... Nothing" I said avoiding his eyes. The eyes which have the superpower to make the other person bend on their knees.

"Are you sure?" he asked and I nodded.

He suddenly stopped the car in the middle of the road.

"Look at me Jennifer" he whispered and cupped my face to look at him.

"I love you.. a lot. You've changed me girl.. I'm not that Emerson whom you saw in the office with some girl.. I have changed myself for you. But I won't force you for anything. Jennifer if you don't love me I promise I won't even show you my face. I promise I'll get out of your life and i.."

"I love you Emerson" I said and hugged him. I didn't even let him finish his sentence as I already knew what I feel for him. He hugged me back tightly and whispered in my ear."Thank you... Thank you so much" he pulled away and claimed my lips. And I was melting in his kiss.

He started driving afterwards but he took some other lane which was opposite to my home.

"Emerson babe.. You missed the lane to my place" I said

"We are not going to your place babe.. " he said smiling.

"Then where are we going?"

"Mine" he said smiling and within a few minutes he stopped his car in front of a huge mansion.

He helped me getting out and I was mesmerised with the beauty I was looking at.

"Why are we here Emerson? Why can't I go to my place?" I asked him

"Because.." he pulled me in his hold.

"I don't want you to stay away from me. I don't want you to get hurt. You will live with me.. forever" he hugged me.

"But .. I can't leave Sophia alone."

"She isn't alone babe" he said holding my hand and taking me inside.

"In fact she herself is moving with her boyfriend" he said.

"Boyfriend.?? She has a boyfriend? She never told me about him"

"Well.. that's between you too." he winked at me and I was still shocked from that.

His house was huge.. and beautiful. The white marbles looked as if they are placed just now. He was showing me his whole place and it was really beautiful.

"So where are we now?" I asked as he was about to open the door

He smiled evilly

"Our bedroom" he whispered in my ear giving me chills.

He opened the door to his master bedroom and my mouth took the shape of the letter 'O'

"It's beautiful Emerson.." I said admiring it. The bed was round and huge with flowers on the sides. The bathroom was as big as my previous bedroom and the most beautiful part of the room was the view...

He hugged me from back waking me up from my thoughts.

"You liked it.?" he asked

"I love it" I said and he kissed my neck..

After exploring the house.. we were in the living room relaxing and watching Netflix. Actually only I was watching and he was lying on the couch with his head on my laps with his eyes closed. I was caressing his head as he said he enjoy when I touch his hair and play with them.

"Babe are you sleeping?" I asked.

"No" he answered in his sleepy voice.

"Shall I get you coffee?" I asked him

"Hmmm" was his reply. I carefully placed his head on the couch and went into the kitchen. I saw the material there and started preparing the coffee for him. He suddenly grabbed me from behind and I shouted.

"You scared me Emerson.."

"Why?.. do you think anyone else can touch you like this? I'm gonna kill him if someone does" he said and held my waist. He then lifted me and made me sit on the shelf there. He cupped my face and stared me for a few seconds before pulling me for a kiss. The kiss was rough. More like a desire for which he was waiting from a long time. His lips then trailed down to my chin.. then neck and it was going more down.

"Umm.. Emerson. I think we should stop..The coffee is ready" I said and he smiled.

After having coffee he took me to my place as I wanted to meet Sophia for answers.

I was wondering who could be his boyfriend.

We reached the place and I rang the doorbell. The door opened after a few seconds.

"Sam???" I was shocked

"Hey Jennifer" he said hugging me and Emerson pulled me away from him. "Who's there babe?" Sophia said from inside and came out.

"Jenny!!" she shouted and hugged me tightly.

"How are you?" she asked.

"I'm fine Sophia " I said and her hug was already crushing my bones.

We went inside and we asked the boys to excuse ourselves as we need to have our girl chat.

"So.. Sam?" I asked folding my hands and faking anger. She blushed and then nodded.

"Everything happened so fast . I couldn't tell you..sorry.." she said.

"I want details." I said and she smiled.

"Last week.. my car broke while coming home early from work and it started raining too. I was asking for lift and Sam helped me... After that we met a few times and grew closer and stronger." she was smiling all time.. maybe remembering the moments they spent together.

"And when I was ready to tell you about that.. you were kidnapped and.. I couldn't" she said.

I pulled her into a hug.

"I'm very happy for both of you. Sam is perfect for you" I said and she thanked me.

After spending some time together I packed a few things of mine and we took their leave. Though Emerson kept saying that he would get me everything but... A girl need her things man..

We left after saying our goodbyes and were on our way to home.. yea our home.

"You look happy babe" he said

"Yeah.. I am. I'm happy for them. They looked so good together." I said and he agreed.

"But we look much better" he said and we both laughed.

When we reached the place I literally asked him to carry me to the room. And he did it gladly. He carried me to our room his arms and I loved being lazy with him.

We were lying on the bed as it was late night and his head was on my chest. And i.. as usual was playing with his hair.

"Emerson?" I said.

"Yes Jenny" he said.

"We are starting a new relationship " I said

"Hmmm.. so?" he asked.

"So do you agree there shouldn't be any secret between us?"

"Of course Babe" he said.

"You know everything about me.. " I said

"And I think you also know everything now." he said getting up and facing me.

"Not everything" I said and he got confused.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Who was that girl in the picture I found in your desk and you got mad when I saw her?"

He was quiet for a moment. Shit Jennifer.. you shouldn't have brought up this topic.. you both just started.

He pulled me towards him and hugged me tightly.

"She was Rose." he said and then laughed a lil.

"The girl whom I loved more than my life" he said.
