Chapter 21

Few weeks later

Jennifer's POV

Ever heard of fairy land? Where everything is beautiful and you feel so loved? I'm living in that fairy land from last few weeks. I've never been so happy in my life. I thought my life was finished but Emerson was a ray of light in darkness with whom I escaped from this dark world. Now it's only love.

"Babe" he came in my cabin. He does this always. He spends most of his time in my cabin than his.

"What do you want Emerson?" I asked putting the files back.

"Is this the way to greet your man?" he asked mocking seriousness.

"Ahaann.. then how should I greet my man?" I closed my laptop and got up.

"By pulling him closer like this" he pulled me towards himself. "Then kissing his forehead" he kissed.

"Then cheeks.. then lips" he claimed my lips and I melted in his kiss.

"And then-" he was about to say something when we heard a knock on the door.

"Damnit!!! What do you want ?" he shouted and I slapped him lightly.

"You have a meeting sir" the person said.

"i'll be there" he shouted and the person left.

"Babe they don't let me love you" he said.

"Because babe you don't work.. now please go . I'll meet you later." I said pushing him out.

"Not later.. as soon as the meeting is over, I want you in my arms" he said and left.

And.... I love him.

I finished my work and his meeting would take another ten minutes. I thought of getting him a coffee and went to prepare one for him. I met Brenda on the way and she smiled.

"You are not seen much these days Jenny .. who's keeping you busy baby?" she said irritating me and I was blushing hard.

"Shut up Brenda " I said and left with the coffee. I knocked his office door and he shouted come in.

As soon as I entered he pulled me to him and I balanced the coffee.

"Wait... You'll spill the coffee " I said and placed it on the table. He sat on the chair and made me sit on his laps.

"I missed you a lot." he said putting his head on my shoulder.

"Are you tired?" I asked him

"Mmhmmm"

"Babe take some rest" I said and he looked at his watch.. it's almost time to go home.. let's leave" he said and we got up. He pulled me to him and cupped my face..

"We should continue our kiss first" he said and we were about to kiss when someone entered the office. Emerson looked at her and was shocked.

"Rose" he whispered making me shock.

Emerson's POV

Everything is going great. I'm in love and I'm enjoying every moment of it. I have been spending most of my time with her rather than working because I don't want to live a moment without her. Dramatic? It's the truth anyway.

I was waiting for her to come and she appeared in a few minutes with coffee. I was tired with continuous meetings but her smile made me better. She came to me and asked if I was tired. We decided to go home and I pulled her to me for the kiss she denied me earlier. I was about to kiss her when someone entered my office.

I looked at the lady and froze.

"Rose" I whispered. Jennifer was shocked to see her.

"Baby" Rose said coming towards me and pushed Jennifer away.

"I missed you so much Emerson.. and I'm sure you did too.. I was your first love intact " she came forward to kiss me but I pulled her arm and threw her out of the cabin.

"How dare you come here" I said and she made a fake innocent face.

"You know I loved you Emerson..your friend forced me that night and .. j had to .. but I still love you babe I.."

"Leave!" I ordered.

"But-"

"Leave!!" I shouted throwing the paper weight towards her and she got scared.

"Relax Emerson" Jennifer whispered and came to me.

"Oh.. you said you loved me.. then how can you be with someone like... Her? She's not even beautiful"

I laughed at her naive brain.

I went towards her and she smiled thinking I would go back to her again.

"I NEVER LOVED YOU" I said making her angry.

"And she.. is my life" I said pointing Jennifer and she looked at her in anger.

"Security!.. throw her out.. and make sure she never enter this place" I said and they took her away. I turned and Jennifer ran to me and stood there staring me.. looking for answers in my eyes which I didn't had.

She hugged me and I kept her close.

"Take me home Emerson" she said and I obeyed her.

We left my office and I drove her back to home.

She was quiet all time and went to the room without saying a word. I followed her. She was still lost.

"Babe" I called her but she didn't answered.

"Babe listen" I said again and she looked at me.

"Why is this happening with us Emerson? Why can't we live a happy life? Why can't we .. why is everything so messed up?" she asked and I had no answer.

"I don't know babe.. I really don't.. but there is one thing I know for sure. I love you. At this moment of my life.. the only thing I want and need is you . Forget everything. Please" I said and she nodded.

"Get ready now.. we are going for dinner" I said and she smiled.

"What should I wear?" she asked pointing towards her closet.

"You will wear that" I said pointing towards the door when Mrs Jones entered knocking the door

I took the package from her and brought it to Jenny.

"Here. Open it" I said and she looked excited. She opened the package to find a beautiful dress.

"Oh my god Emerson... It's beautiful" she kissed me and I think I need to get her few more dresses like these to get more kisses.

She went to wear it and I got ready. I need to make her happy today and take her away from all these chaos.

Jennifer's POV

When he gave me the the package and I opened it. A beautiful gown took away my breath. It was all black with stripes at the back. He knows how much I'm obsessed with this color. I went to try the dress. It looked great. I got ready for the dinner and I hope this would take my mind away from everything. "Are you ready babe?" he called.

"Just a sec" I said wore the pendant he bought me and took a last look

"You look nice" I said to myself.

"Babe we are-" he stopped when he looked at me.

"Wow" he whispered and I walked slowly towards him.

He looked awesome himself.

"I think we should cancel dinner" he said.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't want anyone else to look at you in this.. I can enjoy you better at home."

"Shut up...and let's go" I said and went out and he was following me like a puppy.

"Where are we going? I asked him when he placed me on my seat.

"It depends on what you want to eat.. you have three options. Chinese Italian or Japanese?" he asked..

"Umm... Chinese today" I said and he took me to Chinese restaurant.

The manager himself came to welcome us. I was surprised.

The manager pulled out the chair for me and Emerson pushed him slightly. He was shocked. "I'll do that. You can leave" he said and the manager left.

"What was that Emerson. You should be nice to people." I said.

"I have to be nice to you only .. only I will pull out the chair for you" he said and I sat.

"You are impossible" I said and he smiled.

I ordered food for us as he said he'll eat anything I order.

"Babe you are looking very beautiful" he said

"That is the fifth time you are saying this Emerson"

"But you are looking good " he said again and kissed my hand.

I was blushing harder when I saw a few people looking at us. I was relieved when the waited came with food and thanked him. He smiled at me.

"Are you smiling at my girl?" Emerson asked the waiter who looked scared as hell.

"Sorry .sorry sir" he said and ran.

"Emerson please stop scaring them. It's just their hospitality.." I said and he looked at me angrily.

"Have food babe" I said feeding him and he smiled.

We enjoyed our time talking about nonsense. He asked me to feed him food and it was embarrassing for me when people looked at us but he was enjoying seeing me blush.

When we were over, he helped me getting up and left without paying.

"Emerson we haven't paid" I reminded him but he smiled and entered the car.

"This is our restaurant." he said.

"What? How many restaurants do we own?" I asked

"Many... " was his answer.

He drove us home and carried me to bed.

Next day

Emerson's POV

I woke up and touched the other side of the bed but she wasn't there.

What is her problem? Can't she stay in bed for some time? We don't even have work today.

I looked at the watch and it was almost eleven.

"She might be in the kitchen" I thought and went down yawning.

I was right. She was in the kitchen cooking something and dancing swaying her hips. She was only in my shirt.

"That's a sexy way to wish good morning to your man" I said and she looked back.

"Shut up Emerson.. " she laughed.

"Don't stop babe.. keep dancing for me" I went closer to her and she focused in cooking.

"What are you making?" I asked hugging her from back.

"Pasta!!" she said. Actually she is obsessed with Italian and pasta is her fav.

"I have a better idea of making something more beautiful" I said kissing her neck.

"What?" she asked.

"A baby... Let's make a baby" she pushed me away and I could see her face getting red.

"Jenny we should start thinking of babies. And you know what I want a dozen of them" I said and she looked me in shock.

"Emerson we are talking about babies not cupcakes"

"Ofcourse. You know I've even decided names for our babies" I said and she gave the same"Wtf are you talking about" look.

"Emerson... Go freshen up. You are still in your sleep" she said.

"No. I'm not in sleep " I said placing my chin on her shoulder from back.

"I really want a baby girl first. We'll name her Emerald"

"Why Emerald?" she asked.

I was silent for a moment.

"I had an elder sister with this name. I loved her a lot. She.. she died due to tumor. She was just thirteen then" I said sniffing remembering the moments we spent together.

"I'm sorry Emerson." she said.

"Don't be.. I've beautiful memories of her. That's why I want a baby girl first"

She blushed and I kissed her cheek.

"By the way I forgot why I was here" I said.

"Why?" she asked.

"We are going on a vacation. We really need to get away from this chaos." I said

"Where are we going?" she asked.

"Surprise" I said
