Its Death

--

The children were lying there on the ground, unconscious. They were all wet and their uniforms were drenched in crimson. The light-blue-haired boy who shielded them with his magic earlier was also lying there exhausted and panting heavily.

Sena was nowhere to be seen as his master was sitting there under the tree, fainted. The raven-black-haired boy who was with the platinum-blonde-haired girl was there not far from them. Vinnetra was still conscious as he held his bleeding arm.

The men who attacked them were nowhere to be seen, but the baby Antheros was there as it licked Isseiris in hope that he will stand up. The Telarocks had presumably run into the woods as the meteor was attacking.

None of the forest nor the landscape were destroyed. They were just as they were, aside from the children.

"Vinnetra...!" Allegris rushed to his injured son, earning a grunt in response as he tried hard to open his eyes, but everything he does seemed to hurt much more than it was supposed to be.

All of the parents rushed to their children while a shadow was cast over Eito's eyes. He carried both of his unconscious sons as he walked slowly to his injured daughter. He immediately healed the two boys and he carried his daughter.

He tried to heal her too, but his spell did not work like it did on the two other boys. He tried many other spells as well, but they failed just like the first one. He frowned upon this as Allegris beside him did as well.

Eito placed the girl gently on a small cloud, beside her two brothers, careful not to hurt her further.

"Did your healing spell not work?" Allegris questioned cautiously while frowning, Vinnetra breathing heavily on his back. Eito shook his head slightly as the black-haired male nodded in understanding.

They head back to the others as they were also finished treating the children. Landing his gold orbs on a certain deer-like creature. He raised an eyebrow as the others looked at it as well.

"An Antheros, I see... How rare," the golden-blonde-haired elf commented as he appeared beside the Head of the Ichijou Clan.

"What is the little one doing here?" the woman with long ivory hair, also known as Hellair Silwarryn, petted the creature gently as her daughter, Nerea, was rubbing her eyes beside her mother.

Most of the children were awake, but still in a daze. Their thoughts on the young creature were cut short by a man's loud laugh.

"HehhehahahhahAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!! How nice is it to see the parents fetching their children... heheheheheheheh~"

His face was now revealed, a middle-aged man with auburn hair and a crazed look on his old, ugly face. The sky turned grey as tiny droplets of water touched their skins. The Head Clans kept their eyes on the leader as their children were behind them.

The platinum-blonde-haired girl woke up quietly as she squinted her crystal-blue eyes to see what was going on. She felt her two brothers beside her as she didn't move one bit, pretending to be asleep, but her injury on her back proved it hard for her to do so.

'This is quite a challenge...' Shizuka thought to herself as she quietly shifted herself into a more comfortable position.

"HAHAHAHA!! Let's finish this quickly, boys!!" the man with the crazed look ordered his men to follow him, as they did. The adults engaged in battle as the ginger-haired teacher and Ryuusei stayed behind to look after the kids.

It all happened so quickly that the kids did not have enough time to comprehend what was going on in front of them. Eito, Hallevir, Kizuki, and Allegris were up against just one person, their squad leader.

The other adults dealt with the minions as the baby Antheros gave some enhancements to their power. However, that did not do much as they were slowly losing to the black-clothed men.

The baby Antheros was caught by one of the men as he used it as a hostage towards the adults, which worked well.

"WAHAHHAWHAHHAHAHAHAH!! SURRENDER NOW! AND WE'LL LET THE THING GO."

"COME ONE, KNEEL!!!!" they yelled over the loud rain as the adults didn't move one bit. They kept telling them to kneel, over and over again.

The children's hearts ached to see their beloved parents reluctantly kneeling in front of their enemies. "BWAHAHHAAHHA!!! THAT'S IT!! KNEEL LOWER!!!"

"Especially you, Spirit Wielders, ahahhahHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN HUNTING US HUNTERS DOWN, NOW IT'S OUR TIME TO DO OUR JOB, HAHAHA!!!! How ironic, hunting down hunters when you, yourselves been using the spirits' power, ahhahahAHAHAHH!!!"

The leader stepped forward and stepped on the Head Clans' heads, especially Eito's. He dug his heel lower as Eito tried not to kill him right then and there.

"Ugh--!!!"

"HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!! LOWER! LOWERRRR!!!!!"

The grunts of the gold-eyed male were drowned by their crazy laughs. One would deem them mad, even mentally sick, for Gaia's sake!!! Why were they laughing like a maniac all the time anyway?

Without warning, the men slashed the baby Antheros' neck, killing it instantly. Their eyes widen in shocks and horrors. Words won't come out of their mouths as they gaped at the pool of blood, drenching the men's boots.

The blood was slowly washed away by the heavy rain as they silently grieved inside. Eito and the other Head Clans did not move a bit as the leader stabbed the gold-eyed male in the arm.

"Argh...! Kk--!!!"

"HAHHAHAHAHAH! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE STABBED LIKE ONE OF YOUR VICTIMS?!" If these words could kill, they would all die a long time ago just by the hatred buried in those eyed of the men.

|| There's no more need for words to kill ||

Eito gritted his teeth as Yuzuru screamed in worry and anger. Mizuto did too as the others stopped the boys from getting closer to the men.

Shizuka slowly decided to get up as the rain poured harder. Everyone said nothing as if she was invisible. She walked up slowly to the man, nobody moved as time stopped. Her crystal-blue eyes glowed gold as her hair turned white.

Her white hair flowed behind her, defying gravity. She walked behind the leader who was stepping on her father's head. Still, no one said a word or even moved. Did I tell you that the rain stopped as well in mid-air?

Her tattered clothes showed no sign of scratches or even being torn apart. The pain in her back burned more and more as she held it in.

She reached her, now pale, arms towards the man's neck, pushing her slender fingers down slowly. Time moved slowly again as the man gasped for air. Both of them were slightly floating above the ground, enough for the man's feet to leave the brunet alone.

Eito looked up from the ground with his face full of dirt and scratches as his bangs and hair were messy. The men around them also gasped for air as they left the Head Clans and other adults alone.

Staring at the female with wide eyes once more, they became speechless whilst two large wings appeared behind her, where her burn was before. Her glowing gold eyes showed no emotion and she chanted her last spells.

"Ninth Wing... Tenth Wing..."

Her breath was visible under the cold rain. Her voice was small but somewhat clear to them and the wings behind her turned to gold, just like her eyes. Another voice was also faintly heard the minute she said those words...

"Final Judgement..."

She raised the man high with one of her hand while the other hand was lifted as well. She made a slashing action, mimicking one with a sword as she said the final words...

"...Heaven's Punishment!"

'Found you...'

Her hand swung down as the leader and his men became motionless. Their eyes turned white as silence loomed. Nobody moved, including time itself. The wheels started turning again as the ground shook and the forest roared.

Violent winds blew their hairs, while they were to busy keeping them from their faces. Eito could care less about his slightly blurred vision and he was now in front of Yuzuru and Mizuto, keeping their eyes on the, now different girl.
