Our Story: Spirit Wielders

Liemros waited for Mizuto to continue his words, but was met with a dead silence instead. Curious as to why, Liemros decided to peek at Mizuto. His eyes went wide. His breath hitched for a moment there.

Not long... his lips curled up into a soft smile, one of a brother.

"But... in Shizuka's case, she can befriend any beings. Even tame monsters, I suppose. She had actually done so in previous missions we've been on," Mizuto turned his head to Liemros, the young merman prince beside him.

"Of course, that doesn't mean the other magic users can't form a contract with the ones I mentioned earlier."

The two were met with a moment of silence, both looking in Shizuka's direction wit unreadable expressions. The, now human, merman took his eyes off of the girl for a second to check on the others.
