Our Story: Spirit Wielders

"Huh? Why are you checking a village's storehouse? Aren't you supposed to be back at our base?"

'H-Hahaha... About that...'

"What is it?" Shizuka immediately inquired after hearing Kishi's slightly nervous voice, worried that something might happen. "Ki-chan?"

'I found a boy in the middle of the woods and took him with me to the village, but when we arrive, there were no villagers seen. So, we both looked for them. They might be hiding somewhere after the girls visited,' Kishi quietly reported, scared that Shizuka might scold him to death.

Which she wouldn't do, since the girl's too tired to even scold anyone anytime. Shizuka isn't the kind to scold someone unless they're really wrong.

The Way Out (Pt. II)
