Our Story: Spirit Wielders

"Huh? What do you mean? I don't get it."

Shizuka gave the scroll to Kishi to look at, with Yuzuki peeking from above. The sentence she read earlier caught his attention, "'Light up the flames within the earth?' What did you get from it? I mean, it could talk about lavas and--"

"No, silly!" Shizuka waved the taller boy off and giggled. "Look around this room. What's below the thin layers of light I placed~?"

"Huh? I don't know, I didn't really look around that much..." Kishi muttered breathily, pouting a little as he read the continuation of the sentence. He admitted, he didn't understand a word of it.

Shizuka giggled again and closed the scroll. Pointing at one of the nearest layers of light she placed, she lifted it slightly. Enough for Kishi to see and smell what's beneath it. Scrunching his nose in disgust, Kishi pinched his nose and backed away.
