'Where am I?' I asked myself as I stood up. I felt fine, no headache, no hospital, no crusty skin, no.. death. I was rather excited for a moment. But then suddenly, I wasn't. I felt my arms and legs as I stood up, still blurry-eyed, and felt only right angles. Oh great, I was now a Lego man! Hopefully, I wasn't made out of plastic. That was my first thought.. But that didn't make any sense, so I tried thinking some more.
I looked up and, even though everything was still blurry, I saw the bright green grass and leaves. I saw the brown bark and dirt. But there was something about all the vibrant colors that just wasn't real, for some reason. Slowly, the blurriness faded away and I was even more confused. Everything was a bunch of right angles, just like me. I was wearing a pixely light grey t-shirt and dark grey, almost black pants. My hair was it's usual long light wavey brown, but it was pixely too. The grass and trees were all blocky and made out of pixels. I squinted and rubbed my eyes before looking again. Still, everything was blocky.
'Minecraft?!' I finally thought to myself. It was impossible though, was it? I started walking around. Good, my joints weren't all locked up like in the game so I could bend my knees properly. But my fingers weren't there. It was just one big blocky fist. My wrists couldn't move either, just my elbows. So that kinda sucks! Well, at least I wasn't stuck in a hospital bed.
Then all the memories from earlier rushed into my head at once and I was overcome with sorrow. I fell to my knees in pain, not physical pain, but emotional pain. I couldn't help but put my now blocky hands over my eyes and cry. I knew it was all real. I just knew it! I also somehow knew that whatever state I was in, was also real, even if it does seem impossible for someone to be in a videogame. I cried for so long I lost track of time. I didn't even notice the man standing behind me.
