Welcome!

"Ahem." I heard an adult male voice impatiently clear his throat from behind me. I had never heard the voice before, but even if I had, I probably would have reacted the same way.

"Wha!" I jumped up with a horrified expression on my face. I was slightly embarrassed that this person had just seen me crying. I looked at the man and my jaw dropped the moment I saw him. He had a light blue shirt, short brown hair, purple pants, and glowing white eyes.

I gulped hard as I remembered all the Herobrine stories I had heard and all the pictures I had seen and all the books I had read and all the animations I had watched. This dude was pretty popular! But not in a good way..

"Herobrine!?" I shouted, jumping back once again. I really wished I had a sword then.

"Welcome!.. To the world of Minecraft." He said gesturing to the sky, land, trees, and flowers all around us. He was extremely chill, too chill for my liking.

"What do you want?!" I hissed at him. Herobrine's smile dropped a little as he saw my horrified face.

"Oh come on.. Do you really think I'm what everyone sais I am?" He asked with an almost hurt face as he stepped forwards. I stepped back so he was no closer to me than he was before. He didn't seem to like that.

"Listen, kid!" He suddenly snapped at me, giving up his innocent act. "I'm the one who brought you here! You should be thanking me for giving you another chance!" His face was no longer smiling, instead, it was ticked off and almost angry.

"Wha-" Was all I could say before he rudely interrupted me.

"I know, I know, it seems impossible, but I found a way to make it possible."

"How-?" I tried to ask.

"How I was able to do that is top secret and I won't be telling you any time soon." Herobrine interrupted, again!

"Why-" I decided to try and ask.

"That too is not relevant information until later." Herobrine I interrupted. AGAIN!! I decided to stop asking but Herobrine just looked at me as if he were waiting for another question. He finally realized that he had annoyed me and started to talk again. "Well, come on." He said as he turned around and walked under the shade of a tree and Into the thick forest In front of us. I very quietly started to walk backwards as I watched him disappear into the forest. I then quickly turned fully around and started running in the opposite direction from him. But I couldn't even take a step before I bumped into someone and fell onto my bum. I looked up and saw Herobrine looking down at me with an annoying smirk on his face.

"Hhhh... Just like your father." He said plainly before picking me up by my arm and setting me down on my feet in front of him. Even though this was Minecraft I was still shorter than the usual Minecraftian height and I had to look up at Herobeine's glowing eyes.

"How do you know my father?!" I snapped a scowl at him while taking a step away from him, but he only smirked back.

"That would be one of the two reasons I decided to save you... You see.. I'm your uncle." He said it with so little emotion I couldn't tell if he was lying or not. I still staggered back at the new information I was processing.

'If this guy is my uncle, then that means he must be my dad's long lost brother! The one no one even talks about or at least used to.' I thought.

"How..." I asked with a shaky voice, looking into his glowing white eyes again.

"It's a long story. And I am not really much of a storyteller." Herobrine answered. I wasn't sure with which emotion though.

"What's the second reason you saved me then?!" I shouted, demanding an answer with every fiber of my being. Herobrine just looked at me and sighed.

"Because.. You have the same powers your father had." His answer shocked me. I suddenly had so many questions. And I could tell by Herobrine's face that he knew that.

"My father, had, powers?" I finally asked slowly.

"Yup!.. And your dad never joined me so I'll just make you join instead!" He said with an obviously fake cheery voice as he grabbed me by the hand and started pulling me further into the meadow, the opposite way he had originally walked.

"Wait, what?!" Even though I could sense it coming the whole time, Herobrine's words still shocked me.

"I know, it's a lot to take in, but the sooner you accept it the sooner we can get going." Herobrine huffed, now officially annoyed. I struggled to get out of his grip and succeeded. However, I wasn't able to go very far because he just teleported in front of me again and grabbed my arm.

"Let go!!" I shouted. He didn't listen.

"Just do as I tell you and I'll let you go. Okay?" He huffed.

"...Okay..." I finally agreed, finding no other way out.

"Good! Now come on! The nearest village is this way." Herobrine said as he let go of my arm and continued walking, expecting me to follow. I hesitated but followed a few blocks behind him. This was definitely going to be interesting, that's for sure!
