Another POV

><>Herobrine's POV, a little over 15 years ago<><

I had just finished destroying a small village when one of my endermen came to me. He looked like he was mixed with joy, sorrow, fear, guilt, and anger all at once. This news must have been very interesting.

"S- sir." He panted as if he had just run a marathon. "It's- it's your, brother!" The moment he said that I was really interested. I hadn't heard anything about my brother in almost ten years.

"What is it?! Spit it out!" I said as I floated slightly higher than the enderman's height. I never liked being shorter than anyone.

"His wife! She's.. uuu... She's having a baby." He finally said. My face went blank as I heard this news. This was interesting.

"Where are they?!" I asked. Without answering, the enderman handed me a paper with some real-world coordinates on it. I read them and then teleported there.

Immediately, I looked around and saw that I was in a hospital. It looked like right then I was the only one in the long hallway. Equipment and chairs were outside each door and the place was surprisingly quiet.

I started walking down the hallway, looking into every door as I passed, looking for any familiar faces. My shirt and pants rubbed against my skin as I walked, kinda weird since in the game your clothes are practically glued to you. It would be kind of creepy to see someone with glowing white eyes, and with the clothes I was wearing, anyone who played Minecraft would recognize me immediately. So I changed my eyes to non-glowing and my pupils returned to the same dark brown color I was born with. I couldn't do anything about my outfit though. I didn't really care, I would be in and out in just a few minutes. I'm not entirely sure why I was actually interested, people were born and died every day and I never went to any of those events. I guess the news just intrigued me.

As I passed one of the doors, I stopped in my tracks. I recognized the man sitting by the bed. My brother. I turned and slowly walked through the door. There, I saw the predictable scene of my brother sitting in a chair on the opposite side of the door right next to his wife, who was sitting up in her bed holding a little bundle in her arms. My brother looked up and a shocked expression covered his tired face. I was glad I had missed all the drama, it looked like it had drained both their strength. My sister in law looked up at me too but she looked more scared than my bro.

"What do you want?!" My brother shouted. I tilted my head in response, looking back and forth between him and his wife. My eyes then landed their gaze on the little bundle she was holding.

"What? Is an uncle not allowed to see their nephew?" I said with a cocky smile.

"You mean niece!" My brother shot back as if he wanted to argue. I just shrugged. Then the three of us were quiet for a while.

"C- can I hold her?" I finally asked. Both of them looked at each other with worried looks. I knew what they were thinking about. "You don't have to worry about me taking her. All that crying and diaper changes! pfff! No thanks!" I said truthfully. It was silent again. Then finally my brother sighed, but he didn't answer. A little impatient, I teleported the bundle into my arms and held her gently. I even took a step forward to show that I wasn't planning to run off with her. I hadn't lied earlier. Both the parents gasped and my brother stood up when their baby was in the hands of their enemy, but the sight of me happily looking down at the innocent child calmed them a bit. She was cuter than I thought she'd be, and she didn't seem to mind me holding her. She looked too tired to even open her eyes.

"So what are you going to do about her?" I asked, my face turning blank again. My brother and sister in law seemed shocked by my question.

"What do you mean?" My brother, like a fool, asked. I just sighed at his fake innocence.

"I know the trouble you are going through down here. Don't think an innocent child will make them stop hunting you. If anything, it will make you even bigger targets. Who knows, she might be used against you someday." I laid out the facts plain and simple for the two to process.

"She'll be fine." My brother said as he looked up at me, a little ticked off. "We'll give her a life any normal family would."

"And what happens if you can't?!" I ask with my voice slightly elevated.

"I know what you are trying to get at and No! You won't have her, even if we die and there is no one else to care for her! I would prefer her end up in an orphanage than with you!" My brother shouted. My eyes slightly widened at his claim. Then an evil smile rose on my face.

"But if you are dead, no one will be there to make sure she doesn't join me." I was mostly joking at this point. You could tell by the look in my eyes. I just loved making my brother angry. And my little comment did just the trick.

"J- just, get out!!" My brother shouted.

"Okay." I said plainly as I turned fully around towards the door, the child still in my arms.

"And leave Hazel here!" My brother demanded. I turned back around with the most punch-able smile on my face and had a hard time not laughing. My brother and his wife just scowled. But there was a lot of fear in their eyes. I gave a shrugging look and handed my sister in law her baby back.

"So.. Her name's Hazel?" I said a lot quieter.

"Yeah. Now leave before I banish you there myself!" My brother growled. I took a step back and put my hands up in a surrendering way but I couldn't wipe the smirk off my face.

"ok, okay, fine." Then, I teleported out of there and back to my cube world. I returned to my blocky self and I let my eyes return to their usual glowing white. But I still couldn't wipe the smug smile off my face.

That was the memory that flashed through my head as I watched Hazel being dragged through the portal.

"Hazel!!" I shouted but the portal vanished with her having just gone through it. The dragons Audrey had sent to fight me might have been small, but they were vicious! They wouldn't let me get close to the portal and now that it was gone they set their minds to killing me. They might have been tough, but I was tougher. I killed both of them with a mixture of my powers and super strength. Super, I know. I looked over and saw Emily fighting with her wolves while her cats fled for the hills. I helped her kill the dragon she was fighting before helping Zach kill the two he was fighting. I always did like that kid. He was up for any challenge. Even an army of miniature Ender Dragons. I saw Bruce and Daniel fighting together against a dragon. I jumped down towards it just in time to deal the final blow.

"Thanks! But we had it." Daniel said. I just turned to him with a braggy smile.

"I know." I said smiling. Daniel just smiled and rolled his eyes, well he would have if he had pupils.

"What now?" Bruce asked as the last of the dragons were killed. Without answering, I put my hands together and a tiny End Portal appeared between them. I pulled my hands away and it grew. Eventually, I stepped back and let it grow even bigger than me.

"We save Hazel." I said as I looked into the starry illusion as it stopped growing, about five times my size. I then ran through, diamond sword in hand. And everyone else followed.
