Climbing Down

The two hopped inside the sidecar. It was cramped and uncomfortable but they managed to squeeze in their bags and their knees. Marcus' expression was not exactly pleasant.

"Is this your first time riding on a tricycle like this?" Martha asked.

Marcus had no real experience riding in one. "No. I am not even sure this is safe."

Martha laughed. "This is much safer than riding the carriage. Besides, that would take us ages before we arrive at a destination. This one… Is way cooler than you can imagine."

Martha tapped the driver's arm. "Pedro, we are ready. Transport us now at the nearest point near the top of the mountain."

The driver nodded. "No problem Ms. Martha. I know where that point is."

Martha winked at Marcus as the engine started and the vehicle started to move really fast.

Marcus tightened his grip on the handle in front of him.
