And Jet would find out whether he wanted to or not.

CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

"To think Island Nebu's agents are not prepared for an attack," Alec mused loudly during breakfast.

Ronnie shoved a piece of pancake in his mouth as he nodded in agreement. He chewed quickly and gulped it down before he turned to Alec. "But I think that actually says how rich the island is. With every last one of them having the ability to purchase the newest upgrade, the chances of actually someone turning is slim to none,"

Jet sipped his coffee slowly. His mind was still at the happenings of the night before. There was the reaction of Alice to the Alpha pills. The girl seemed to have no problem with them taking it yet she recoiled at being offered one. Then, there was that unease he felt with the island's agents. Not to mention the monster that seemed to have only interest with Alec.

Something wasn't sitting right with him.
