CHAPTER FIFTY-NINE

"It's definitely bad. I don't want this to be our normal," Ronnie cried. "Oh, mate—I missed the olden days,"

Clinton and Alec were laughing at Ronnie's dramatic answer when there was a knock on the door, and all three pairs of eyes in the room darting towards it. Ronnie's heart jumped in fear despite that they were expecting someone to come.

Walking towards it, Clinton opened it to see Z standing there. He stepped aside and let the younger man enter the room. He greeted the men inside with a simple nod. Upon seeing his patient, Z quickly walked towards Jet and knelt down on the floor beside the couch.

"How long was he like this?" he asked. He opened his Jet's eyes, one after the other, with his fingers to check his condition.

"Maybe an hour or so," Alec answered. "Do you know what's wrong with him?"
