CHAPTER SIXTY
Alec's night was full of surprises. His life was full of surprises. In fact—he should have gotten used to it by now. But when the crows that were agitatedly flying in the sky started falling towards the ground, he couldn't stop his shock from coming out.
"What the hell?" he cursed, slamming his hands in the glass as he looked out the window.
Clinton and Ronnie rushed towards the window after hearing Alec's outburst. All three pairs of eyes stared outside with complete bafflement and fear. It was like watching a sci-fi movie. One minute the crows were cawing aggressively and the next they were all descending down to the ground as if gravity had suddenly failed them.
And when the first bird met the cold ground, there was a sharp gasping behind them.
